I bought two new bras today, went from a 44DD to a 38D. Yay!38

I told 2 of my friends my current weight and both thought I must be lighter than that, so I guess I look skinnier than I weigh. I half-joked that it must be all my muscles, they actually agreed...25

I really enjoyed it when I realized I could do this as well. Good stuff!8 -
I sat crossed legged yesterday and noticed some bumps on my legs. Instead of freaking out and letting negative thoughts take over for the rest of the day, I told myself I was at the beginning of my journey and I shouldn't be so hard on myself. I thought about all the activities and gym stuff I do now. Reminded myself that slow and steady wins the race.20

My friend who always has talked about losing weight and wanting to get in shape but never wants to listen asked me for advice. This is a person who still believes all the fake stuff peddled from before we were born and she knows that I think that stuff belongs in a toilet. She said "I want to do what you are doing because it is working!"20

A fancy blouse I got as a gift a few years ago was too small for me when I got it. I tried it on the other day and it fit perfectly.19

I just realized I made it through shark week without ravishing the vending machine for junk. score! of course that may have been partly due to fighting a cold as well, but I'm counting it anyways.23

Passed on cupcakes in the break room.21

Today I realized by brewing my own unsweetened tea and bringing it to work, I don't miss my diet mountain dew that I used to have every morning at work. Healthier, and saves me money.18

Since I gave up junk food a month ago and started using sweet almond oil as moisturizer, my skin is glowing! Also its as though I am watching my hip bones reappear! Horray! Can't wait to donate the next size of clothing. Thrift shop! Here I come!14

My NSV is I'm still going. A couple of years in and it's been a journey, will always be one.28

Last night my husband was dishing himself ice cream cake and asked me if I wanted some. I said "No thanks" because I was still satisfied from dinner.
I think it's the first time I've ever said no to ice cream + I'm learning to listen to my body!! Huge NSV for me!29 -
Lost 6.25" from various parts of my body over the last month, and more than 17.5" in total - I didn't measure at the start of my journey and wish I had now! My first measurements are from around 5-6 weeks in.12

There was pizza at work the other night. I ate one piece. ONE! Logged it and kept movin on. It didn't set me off with carb cravings thank goodness. It could easily have gone the other way. Shouldn't have risked it, but still a nsv for me15

On Sunday a girlfriend of mine gave me a massive pile of clothing she no longer wanted. In it were a pile of super cute date night dresses, including one I plan on wearing tonight. It's size 'M', which is meaningless as all get out, but it's been 16+ years (high school) since I last wore a size 'M' anything.29

After several weeks of hard work, three people in one day said I looked more toned!17

Went out for lunch today (husband's birthday). Normally I would have a mixed grill but today I couldn't face it. In fact, there was nothing on the menu that I fancied as it was all served with chips or deep fried and just THINKING about eating it made me nauseous (apart from the horrific calorie count).
So I decided not to have anything except a diet drink. My husband was upset or annoyed (sometimes it's hard to tell ) until I pointed out to him that it was MY choice not to throw any old rubbish down my throat and that I chose NOT to pay a vast amount of our hard-earned money eating something that I didn't want and wouldn't enjoy, just to make him happy. Discussion over.
The NSV? That I had the strength not to bend to someone else's wishes over my food choice (and NOT to eat is a choice).
BTW, I had a huge fruit salad when we got home and it was really tasty. A good choice as I would have really regretted that mixed grill . . .24 -
My NSV for today- I have undertaken a yard project (pebble patio and self made fire pit) that I busted tail at most of today. Prior to this journey I would have never done it but secondly I can see if I had it would've taken me a month or more to complete. I'm proud to say I'm about 1/4 done and plan to finish by Sunday! Who needs a fella when you've got the muscle (jk I do need my fella)24

Hummm, I've had a few recently. 1) I told myself that on a 3 week vaca I would only allow a 5 lb weight gain. Came home to read 5.8 on the scale...pretty darn close when I would have TOTALLY not even thought about it in the past. 2) On my vaca I wore a bathing suit 90% of the time without total humiliation. 3) When I returned this past Saturday, I IMMEDIATELY reverted to my healthy habits & started working on dropping the vaca weight & am now motivated to drop even more. I feel like it was the 1st time I was responsible for my actions yet I still was able to have a blast & enjoy my beer & BBQ while away.26

Today is my 50th day since choosing to make my lifestyle change. I have no desire to go back!25

I'm down three cms (about one and a half inches) around my belly button, and two cms (about an inch) down around my bottom - achieved in just 10 days.13

I was able to sit halfway up before having to use my arms to push me up with my sit-ups this morning! I could barely get my head off the floor last week...and definitely not my shoulders!!13

Walked dog before work two mornings in a row. Getting back in the habit after circumstances prevented me last week. And the dog loves it!10

Bought some small size shirts and size 6 pants yesterday. I've worn size 10 my entire adult life, and that had gotten tight before I turned things around, so this feels like a huge accomplishment! I kept looking at the pants and thinking they're so tiny there's no way they'll fit, but they do!15

I couldn't find my white summer cardigan to wear to work today. When I asked The Husband if he saw it when he put away laundry, he said he put it with my 11 year old niece's clothes because he thought it was hers!19

Second logiversary yesterday, and a recent 2 day hiking trip. Never hiked back-to-back days before. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10428970/2-years-130lbs-and-a-very-long-post-with-a-pile-of-pics-at-the-end/12
