Holiday Challenge ( 10% off by Christmas )

Seeking interested folks who would like to drop 10% of their body weight for the holidays. Start date will be MONDAY, AUGUST 15th and final weigh in will be SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20TH. Who's in? I need some encouragement to do this! We can post every weekend too with photos and/or words of encouragement. We can share our losses too along with moments of struggle. The goal: to start 2017 off being healthier. Let's do this!

This is a perfect goal for me! I want to go slowly, and this seems like a doable thing. I will start with you tomorrow. 10% off should be around 25 lbs (I will do an official starting weight at the gym tomorrow) which will also get me really close to below 200. I turn 30 on January 11 and I want to be below 200 lbs by then!5

I too want to do this and will start today the 15th. 10% for me is a great goal, a doable goal thank you! I have been overweight for so long and recently join MFP, I am willing to give encouragement, post every weekend but will not post pictures:( Thank you for starting this.5

I've never posted here before but I need some accountability/friends so I would LOVE to join. A 10% loss would be 23 pounds for me. I will run another half marathon in January so I need some of this weight off of my body so that the running and recovery doesn't hurt so much. Plus in my head, I run a lot faster when I weigh less.6

Hi, this will be my first challenge on the app. I hope it will motivate me to be consistent with logging my food. My starting weight is 194. I'll round up my 10% to be 20lbs. I'll start today and report my weight each Monday morning. Good luck everyone. Feel free to friend me on the app.3

Being only 5"1' I am looking for 135 for final weight but really want to be healthy so pounds not so important.

I am in as well...Starting weight as of a few days ago (I didn't weigh in this morning but I will tomorrow morning) was 148lbs. I have a wedding I am standing up for on Sept 10th and I need to drop a few before then and to keep it going thru the new year and beyond!! I always find it easier to focus on getting through the weekend if I have legitimate goals set up to get me through. I have three goals for this weekend.
25,000 steps total.
No Fast Food
No additional soda (I have a half drank bottle in the fridge waiting for me for tomorrow, anything more than that is not okay)
