After becoming a little too relaxed with my weight loss plan I have been able to get back on track over the last two weeks. I even worked out on a Sunday! I wanted to test how much time I would need in the morning so I could exercise before going to work so went through the whole routine. I originally planned to just add the 30 minutes I would be working out to the time and just skip the workout altogether, knowing I would be ready to go tomorrow, but I just did the workout anyway. I'm excited to start my day with a new routine.15

Almost one month counting calories and I am not even near the amount of lbs I want to lose but I am starting to notice the changes in the mirror!24

I took my measurements for the first time since last December. And I compared them to my original measurements from March 2015. I've lost over 40 inches! Whhhhhaaaattttt I was not expecting that! I even measured a second time to double check I hadn't messed it up!27

That's fantastic!
Lost 2 inches off my stomach from last week, everything else stayed the same.12 -
Two today.
1) This morning I decided to go walk on my skip day.
2) I found a pair of size 18 pants in my closet that still had the tags. I got them shortly before I got pregnant with my third son in 1996. They fit perfectly. I was wearing 24s the beginning of April.26 -
I am now below my lowest weight I could remember of my adult life, over 25 years ago!35

My NSV today is not only about me - the healthy lifestyle is catching on - my daughter has had an apple the last few days on the way to school (instead of her usual sugary snack)!29

I've cycled so much this year (1000 miles in the last two months alone) that I've worn out a set of front and rear brake pads, a rear tyre and the front derailleur on my bike. I am now cycling a minimum of 25 miles a day and don't return home out of breath each day.
Luckily I have a wonderful and very patient husband who is happy to do the repairs for me and never moans when I return from a ride asking for him to fix something else34 -
I haven't been able to get comfortable driving our pickup for awhile now. Then yesterday I realized why....I have always kept the seat in the same position. I need to have the seat much closer now that i've lost 81 pounds27

I have two NSVs today: fitting easily into pants that I couldn't wear two weeks ago. (I've only lost 5lbs, but several inches.)
And, before starting on this journey 2 weeks ago, I NEEDED my vitamins to get through the day. I still take them (when I remember; in the past, I didn't dare forget), but when I forget, I'm no longer dragging in the afternoon. Instead of dropping into bed crabby and exhausted, I'm rushing the kids and I to bed on time because we all look forward to our morning workout!20 -
I have great news. I have been in a Pedal off the Pounds (POTP) since May we had our last weigh-in last week and our results party Saturday Night. They announced the top Eight and I was in!! Then they announced the runners up for each team. I was still standing! Then 4th runner and 3rd runner up and yes I am still standing! The final announcement and I found out I had won the top spot. Yes I won some great prizes a bike and bike rack among other things but the best thing was the progress I have made to my goals. I will try and post some before-after pictures soon.

Replacing my size 20/22 control pants with 'normal' pretty size 12/14 pants34

Corollary to the smaller jeans, I took the time this weekend to expunge the 46" jeans and some of the 18" shirts.
My next closet project is to toss the lifetime of collected blood donor t-shirts and start collecting a smaller size.24 -
I am wearing a pair of pants I couldn't pull shut a week ago.29

1360 days logged today
Donated a few clothing items yesterday. Also got a pair of Nike dri-fit workout pants for $1 from Goodwill. Size M/8-10. I'm usually L/XL but they fit!
Not sure if I mentioned this in my last post but noticed while at the gym my HR has been lower.33 -
Today marks my 240th day logging. Also, I went to dinner on Saturday, and I didn't concern myself with the calories, I just ate to fullness and enjoyed myself with my friends, and got back to work the next day.23

Awesome! One of my goals is to be able to wear a dress with NO Spanx!7 -
Over the past two and a half weeks I haven't been tracking as i thought I would give myself a break. It was my wedding/honeymoon after all!
Now I'm back to tracking. I actually surpassed my goal for the wedding by almost 10 pounds, so to put on 4 pounds over my past 18 day indulgence is not bad at all!
Back to the gym tomorrow for spin class to dive head first back into my gym routine!
You look gorgeous! Congrats!7 -
NSV is getting back to this thread after falling off the wagon. Posting on the NSV thread has become an NSV. Thanks to you all for the inspiration to get back at it.
Also, I've just recently realized that when I am having an overwhelming craving (which happens only about once a month now, the day before I get my period), just walk to the store and buy a chocolate bar I want instead of trying to do what works other times (having some protein paired with some carb). My attempt to shut down the craving cost me 500 calories more than just buying the Reece's Peanut Butter Cups would have. Lesson learned.
On day 18 of the rest of my life and pants are looser. I figure I will be back to where I was before I fell off the wagon by the end of October at the latest.

Day 30 of logging. Also, I've been dealing with the death of my grandpa and been at my grandma's all week, where there are cakes, donuts, cookies... I haven't dove into any of it :-)23

I'm getting better biceps!21

i was too hungover to do my saturday workout, so i just did it on sunday along with sunday's workout. this makes 3 weeks in a row where i've worked out 5-6 times (and walked over 10,000 steps on my non-hangover induced rest day!)18

Sorry about your grandpa. Awesome about staying out of the treats.3 -

You look gorgeous, as we knew you would! (Love your hair, too!)
Many congratulations - did your new husband carry you over the threshold? (I think it was you looking forward to that, unless I'm confusing you with someone else... )2 -
I have been wearing a wedding ring for a whole week! It's my hubby's, as mine is still too tight to wear, but still... it's been a while! I thought it was uncomfortable because it was tight, so haven't been wearing it often, but I eventually realised that it's actually uncomfortable because I'm just not used to wearing a ring. I've kept it on day and night and am slowly getting used to the feeling again.
I'm looking forward to the day when I can wear my own again - been married 27 years and only wore my rings for about 5 of those...20
