I'm sure this has been covered but men you definitely lose your boobs!!!
Man, I had to read this twice --- soooo funny.10 -
I get marks on my nose from my glasses now. They also fit much better.
Didn't get the marks 50lbs ago, the fat on my nose absorbed it. I'm currently about halfway to where I want to be.14 -
Lemonsurprise, why does it become uncomfortable to lie in a bed after losing weight? I would think it would get easier. (I have 55 pounds to lose.)4

Because you get boney. Your knees get knobbly and get uncomfortable when you sleep on your side, you may find your pillow is too high, your hips dig in to the mattress, and the mattress might feel way too hard for you since you sink into it less.14 -
Or your mattress might be wearing out. Time marches on!8

No one tells you that losing weight won't be pretty. It won't come off in smooth sections or evenly. Right now my stomach looks more like a map of the moon. I have only lost 11 lbs but you can already see my stomach changing and I tell you it ain't attractive lol no one tells you what it will actually do to your body all they say is it will be good for you. I feel amazing from eating better and exercising more. It is exciting to see clothes start to actually fit the way they were intended to and verge on being too big. It is exciting to be able to walk behind a chair near a wall and not have to move the chair or suck in. It's exciting for other people to recognize the change. For me even just losing 11 lbs I already feel lighter.32

That by the time you fit into your small sized clothes again they're out of style34

Unless your smaller sized clothing is lime green, you also learn that you can make any of your old clothing fashionable I sure am managing to rock my 10 year old wide bootleg jeans with a dirty acid wash on casual Friday in the office!18 -

Not if you've always shopped for neutrals. I realize I'm in the minority here. Haha6 -

This is so true for me too!
This is what I look forward to the most. When my body physiologically NEEDS to move and eat "the good stuff."3 -

How it is that you can look at yourself in semi-profile from one side and see it being much bigger than from the other side. What lol?
Also, how is it that you can look smaller in the bathroom mirror than when you are lying down in the bathtub?
This perception stuff is so weird.
Your elbows also become smoother, just like your heels.

That you don't recognise the person you glimpse when walking past a shop window/mirror - 'tis freaky. I looked at myself in the mirror yesterday, properly, and I really cannot reconcile the person I see with the person I've been for my entire life. Most odd.24

I hold my arms up to wiggle and notice less jiggle lol20

fat insulates. it honestly does. i get this crazy experience every winter while bike commuting, where i can physically feel it if i grab a handful of bum or hip fat. what i'm holding will be physically cold to the touch, yet to myself, underneath that layer, i'm feeling perfectly warm.

1. I wish someone would have told me that even if you have an ideal weight in mind people close to you might feel "It's too skinny".. Even if they say you look slimmer.
2. Nobody tells you that you have to warn people close to you whom you haven't seen you in months about your weight loss.. Seriously it's a thing otherwise they're shocked to the core and they make a huge fuss about it( Unless they knew before you were trying to lose weight).
Also I wish someone would have warned me about what happens when you become 40 pounds overweight from your BMI. People aren't as nice to you and are rude for the most part. Also you look older if you are overweight and your skin stretches out.

that you may look in the mirror and not look any different to you...even though you have gone down many sizes. that you see the difference in the before and no pics side by side but looking in the mirror you still see the before.
I hope it just takes time for the brain to catch up??18
