Who should text first after a hookup?

Just out of curiosity... Does it matter if the guy texts first or the girl? Does it mean the girl isn't interested if she doesn't text first, or vice versa?

If you did it right, he'll blow your phone up.
    Constantly.

Did it right meaning beat it up so good he knocked out and when he woke up no evidence of you being there kinda right?

I mean, not everyone likes to snuggle afterwards.

I'd just text 1st because why wait? I believe that too much responsibility, is being levied at men; to approach/court women. Which leads to unfair amounts, of potential rejection; for them. Why should they always have to be put, in a situation in which; they might be rejected by us & we not at least share half, of that burden ourselves?

the one with the lowest self esteem texts first

    don't blow your cover

I disagree, I have a high self esteem; which means I'd be able to handle the rejection! Therefore there's no risk, in exposing myself; to that potential result!

If you text first he might think you hooked up with him because you like him that would be a disaster.

Huh? What? There are rules for this stuff?

I am so glad my hookups were mostly pre-cell phone. LOL.

Next time you drug him and take his kidney if you want to guarantee to get a text back from him the next day.

    Don't text him, girl!

If he's into you he'll text you.

If it's really driving you crazy you can send one text, but if he doesn't reply or his reply is short like "lol" then drop it.

Why do people think there are rules. Be yourself, and do whatever feels natural. If you want to text, text. If you don't, don't. If whatever you would do naturally causes issues in any way, on to the next one.

Unfortunately, there are rules though. Men made it like that.

    He should strike first.

No, there are not rules. If you do something the man doesn't like, and he doesn't date you because of it, it's not because you broke an imaginary rule. It's because you are not what he wants. Trying to play along to some bs notion of "rules" is manipulative at best. Be yourself and do what you want. Either he will like you or he won't. Better to find out sooner than later.

Well he should text/call and state that.

Yeah, otherwise she might be herself and him not like it then not want to see her. Can't have that. She needs to know that she can only be herself if that's what he is looking for. Otherwise, gotta try to be what he wants.

hahaha funny. I agree that there shouldn't be a rule or any games played....but the truth is 99% of the time the game is played when you first meet a person. And I NEVER suggested that she should be what he wants...that's why I can't entertain these conversations. Stuff is always added.

There shouldn't be criteria as to who text first, it's about if you felt the chemistry and you are interested, go ahead, forget pride or the fact that you are a female or a male.

Also depends on what you text about :)

dang, if "she" texted me first instead of calling... I probably wouldn't even respond. LOL, a text is so personal after a hook up. Guess I am showing my age but that is just me.

Well I don't desire, to potentially bother someone; if they might be busy!
