Parties are so hard to eat good through but planning ahead helps. Sorry about your mom! That's scary and glad she is stable. Use it as motivation if you can.2 -
Thank you currentlysane. My bad eating habits are creeping back in over this week off of work, my fault, giving myself excuses. My energy level is showing it. I did get out my Wii yesterday. Did some Wii sports, been years since I turned it on. Still need batteries for the Wii balance board so I can use the Wii fitness programs I have. I forgot how much fun Wii Fit can be.1

I'm so sorry about your mother. I'm glad she is stable.0 -
Thank you winnie45. Mom out of hospital today she has bad headaches from new heart meds. As for me worked off calories cleaning the house and scrubbing floors.1

Worked out on the Wii , My Fitness Coach 2 game. 2 of the preset workouts done. I was sweating by the end of it. I did really bad in the balance challenges, fair in the lower body workouts and good in the upper body workouts. Signed up for the Amazing race-Fall challenge here on MFP to continue my motivation for exercise. I also wrote up a menu plan and schedule to fit in exercise daily. Hope all is going well with all of you.2

Stayed within my 1200 calorie goal today. Not so sure about the rest of last week as I didn't track. Went grocery shopping today to get more healthy/low calorie options in the house. Curious about my weight in the morning. Hope I didn't gain it all back.2

I think I did well for this first week's goal. Every other day we are loosing weight, becoming thin and loosing body fat. The pockets of fat are now getting empty and replaced by the sagging skin (neck and lower abdominal area), asking me to do something. Any idea apart from plastic surgery. Help would be appreciated.

Weigh in day!!! Good luck everyone!3

I was really looking forward to seeing the scale this morning. I ate my normal breakfast, a big healthy lunch then soup for supper most nights last week. I think that really helped me. I still snacked between lunch and supper but kept to fruit, nuts, or under 150 calorie snacks. A couple of nights we had a cheese and fruit plate hor'dourves. I added some crackers and meats for my hubby so he's been okay with the soup as well. Overall, I stayed very near 1200 calories a day and didn't feel deprived.
I hope everyone else is finding something that works for them. I am ready to see if this works again this week for me. Many new soups to try!

Soups are amazing to help lose weight and super tasty, I always have to watch the sodium levels as my body tends to hold on to it. I make a wicked vegetable wonton inspired soup (wo wontons have not figured out a healthy alternatives yet). Congrats on your loss this week stellar!!3 -

Very happy I finally reached the weight I was 2 yrs ago. I am down in total 23.6 lbs since July. Thanks, in a huge part to MFP and the friends I have made here.4 -
Starting weight: 220 lbs
Week 1: 217.4 lbs
Week 2: 214.2 lbs
After a not so great week I was not looking forward to stepping on the scale but I did and I was soo shocked! I stepped on it over and over again to make sure the number was accurate. I am beyond happy today, 5.8 lbs gone! I have read so many success stories where people would give credit for their weight loss to My Fitness Pal and although I have used this app several times in the past I never once saw results. So I would like to once again thank and dedicate my success loss to you Momzie2016.
Lat week I decided to eat cereal for breakfast, honey nut cheerios, quick and easy and I will continue with this. I also was eating more salads for lunch (added cranberries and sunflower seeds, yum!). I will continue with the salads but maybe introduce an egg salad or tuna.. still looking for quick and easy so I will reach out to Google for recipes
This week I will continue to focus on recording what I eat and I will add a very light weight arm routine to my day. I want sexy shoulders.
PS I hope that we can continue in November, one month at a time5 -

I was afraid of this... Been on vacation. Drinking too much diet coke. Back to work and not so much free time starting Tues. I have been working out on the Wii, increasing exercising and finding low calorie foods I enjoy. I will continue to develop healthier habits. I am now tracking food/calories.3 -

Keeping calories at 1200/day. Watched grandson last night and most of the day so kept busy chasing a toddler around. Did well not overdoing it at my mom's home cooking at lunch. Did need to 'taste' her homemade caramel nut rolls. Need to get more steps in. Back to work tomorrow which will increase my energy expenditure. Will get my lunch packed to take along right now.2

Kept calories at 1200 today. 10 hour work day then monthly card party and did really well at choosing healthy foods within my calorie limit. Need to increase my water intake. Going to get my spiritual reading done then get my sleep for 12 hour work day tomorrow.3

Glad you are feeling good and the changes you are implementing are working. I found the same thing when I started cutting out processed food and looked at my portions. I now fill up on foods that keep me full vs shoving whatever I could find in my mouth because I was starving. Who knew eh!1 -
Hi Ersheen keep it up. Try to find healthy low calorie foods you enjoy. Make a list and have them available. Discovered no sugar added canned peaches today. 30 calories for 1/2 cup They were like a sweet treat for me. Michelle... Thanks. I still shove the food in sometimes (lol) but it's healthier. 1) because work is super busy and not much time to eat. 2) feeling extra hungry today. Pressure cooked boneless chicken breasts and scarfed down 6 oz while holding grandson who I've been chasing around all morning.3
