I'm wearing really baggy clothes because I want to wait with shopping until I lose my last 10 lbs. Another day at home I was wearing my gym leggings, only tight pair I have. I was cooking dinner and my boyfriend looked at my a.ss and said "my God! Now you look like one of those skinny hot girls!" It made me laugh so hard and I was so happy because my bum and tights are worst areas of my body!!!
Also my hip bones are emerging. And when I sleep I need pillow between my knees because it hurts when they touch! YAY!!!22 -
Today is my birthday. Old enough to retire now. Young enough to want to be at a healthy weight. I am approximately half way to my goal. I don't log my food but pay attention to what I am eating making better choices and extremely limiting things from the Snickers food group. I have started and stopped so many times and am close to the point where many times I have let it go and gained it all back then some. I am determined to keep going this time and while progress has slowed down since summer the scale is still going in the downward direction. Still biking everyday until Iowa weather and shortness of daylight make it impractical. (wellness center here i come) 2200 miles and counting since May 2016.
NSV: Not giving up anytime soon!39 -
Went down a notch on my belt and my size 18 pants are getting super loose almost to the point that I won't be able to wear them.16

I've been walking around work all day looking like a fool because I literally can't take 2 steps without my pants sliding down!!!19

Before I started to lose weight I felt anxious and/or depressed whenever I had a meal, because I was acutely aware that I was overweight and unhappy about it. It just dawned on me that eating is now anxiety free; likely because I'm on a downward trend and feel confident in my eating habits. Bottom line, I am a happier person after shedding 30 lbs.
That's a huge NSV in my book!

So, today I went UP the hill again . . .
To see this view (better on a sunny day and with a better camera than my phone):
And cycled/cruised (maybe rushed is a better word) down the other side: today's top speed:
Beginning to think that 45mph is actually achievable.

I have to get my glasses adjusted because they are too loose on my face. I guess my head is less fat now.29

Fitting into a sexy dress and not having to worry about lumps, cause its super skin tight!21

I won some 00 jeans off someone on the town bidding site. When the 13 year old seller who had outgrown them dropped them off she told me how I "looked good for a mom" lol29

My waistband didn't fold over on itself once today. And my undies didn't snap down. Progress is made!!26

34" Levis 511s are my new size, down from 42 in May. I hope that's where it stops, this is getting quite expensive. My backside has completely disappeared, if anyone finds it can they hand it in.27

Went to bed last night after a 4 mile walk and my ankles were not swollen. First time going to bed in a couple years that my ankles were not very swollen. Also first time in a long time walking 4 miles.30

I started tucking in my shirts this week instead of letting them hang out to cover my belly.26

Wore a new scrub shirt yesterday. I got lots of compliments on it, but all day I felt like it was just a little tight. That's discouraging--I gained back a few pounds, but thought I could still wear a size small top. Made me more conscious of what I ate yesterday. Then, last night, when I took the shirt off, I saw that the tag said "XS" and not "S"! Still glad I wore it--I need to be more aware of my choices EVERY day!29

I'm back on the wagon! I actually lost 47 pounds since the end of February, but then gained 6 or 7 back in the past 6 weeks. I'm still another 50 pounds away from my goal, but I have some NSVs to share! This week I have... A) been under my calorie goal every day;
worked out every day; C) made plans to start a heavy lifting routine on Monday; and D) got my favorite "you trained like an athlete" message when I closed out my routine at the gym on Tuesday. My son's preschool schedule was throwing off my gym schedule, but I'm committed now to just making it work. If it means doing two shorter workouts instead of one long one, so be it. Bless you all for this thread! It is just the extra dose of motivation that I needed. Oh, and I am now accepting any encouraging words, prayers, white light, or anything you might have to offer me. Let's do this!

Those pants are a size EIGHT!!! They are super stretchy, but still! The last time I was a size eight, I was 30 pounds lighter. Heavy lifting for the WIN!!!
