I was walking/jogging downtown today when a very "friendly" young man yelled some comments from his car about how I would need to "move a lot faster than that if you dont want to be a fat *kitten* anymore".
2 months ago a comment like that would have brought tears, a quick departure home, and caused me to avoid going out in public to exercise again.
Today.. I smiled at him, and continued on my way. Theast couple months Ive started to grow way more comfortable in my own skin - way more vuable to me than numbers on the scale.
This one is awesome! GO, YOU!!!13 -
Put on a pair of skinny jeans from last winter even though I have gained since then, I have been doing more lifting so I feel pretty good!13

Learning to accept and believe a compliment can also be an nsv
I may have inspired a friend to lose weight (we talked about it a lot) and she looks great. I can't take credit for it, but I'm happy that she's happier.

1. I am down to 1 pair of wearable work pants. I hate shopping so this is definitely a dilemma
2. I had to ask for a smaller shirt from my employer for our "outreach" days when we have to be in university identifiable gear. I went from an XL to an L, but its still a bit big. Likely it will shrink as they notoriously do, but it still feels good to know a M may have been an option.
3. It's getting cold and I broke out the favorite afghan and discovered both the SO and I fit under it comfortably and we don't have to steal it from the other during sleep. LOL15 -

Don't know if this is going to be a good one or a bad one until my body recomp. I have hip implants so I can't go through the X-ray machine at TSA when I fly, I have to go through a full body scanner.
This time it was really tough cuz they really did a through Pat down. Talking to one of the guys he asked me if I lost a lot of weight and I said yes. he said what the scanner is probably picking up is the loose skin. When he showed me the scan it made perfect sense it's where I have the most loose skin. Don't know if anybody else has experienced this.
On the other hand the plane seat didn't bother me at all.20 -
I went hill walking and we went up one particular hill, I normally avoid as I find it difficult, and we were at the top before I even noticed, and I had been talking all the way up!!!21

Working on a 45 day challenge. Part of yesterdays challenge was to do 20 jumping jacks. I was nervous about this. A couple of months ago I tried jumping rope and I was out of breath after about 5 jumps. I did 20 1 handed jumping jacks and I wasn't out of breath, and could have easily did a lot more. The other hand was holding the girls in place. I didn't want a black eye. LOL
I read this and thought I can't even remember the last time I did a jumping jack that wasn't in a pool, so I got up and tried and guess what I couldn't. That's really awful. But I figured out if I did a little jump to move my feet out and moved my arms to shoulder level, then I could do another little jump to bring my feet back while I moved my arms up and then do a two step reverse back to the starting position. Hey it's a start! Thanks @jdelaroy for mentioning it. So I guess that's my NSV for today, learning to do a jumping jack on dry land and I bet if I practice, eventually I can do a regular one! Where did you get your 45 day challenge?

Had a customer buying 3 bags of Hershey's Kisses today. I said "God, those look good. You shouldn't have shown me those because now I want some!," to which she replied, "Yeah, but you're skinny, you can eat as much of those as you want and you don't have to worry." First time I think I've ever been referred to as skinny other than people that have seen me through my weight loss.
Little moments like this are just what I need to keep going when things get rough. If only I could eat as much chocolate as I wanted to!26 -
