That completely depends on the boundaries in your relationship.5
-
It really depends on your intent I suppose!
I have a girlfriend that I love, she trusts me and I trust her.
I still pay compliments on here where I see it right to do so, I mean them in a fun/complimentary way.
She knows I spend a lot of my time on here and she's happy with my activity BUT that doesn't mean that every relationship would be happy with the same!
It's something that if you feel guilty about - you need to consider your intents behind posting the compliments, if it's with innocent intent then.. personally I wouldn't worry.
Put your relationship first!14 -

Cool. Yeah the ate innocent enough. Just having fun. Its nice to give and recieve compliments.
No intent there just being friendly. Half the mfp people are acroos the otherside of the global.

Then perhaps you've answered your own question.
Why worry if you have innocent intent?
If you feel you're stepping a little 'too far' into the boundaries that your OH would be happy with then just reign yourself back in!
All the best!4 -
I think if you feel guilty, maybe you're doing something you shouldn't - ONLY because you attach meaning to it. It's not inherently wrong to talk to other people...7

Basically this. If you wouldn't want her to know or if you wouldn't want her to talk to men the way you do, then you shouldn't do it. Otherwise no harm.8 -
If It were her, what would you want her to do?6
-
Never send d pics. Thats just wrong! The point is i like people to feel good about what they have achieved. Offending people by sending them grot is not my bag!2
-
I let all these weird women go all complimentary on each other.0
-
Donr know really. Just the way i have been draggwd up i guess...i feel guilty if i treat myself to stuff too just the way i am.
Would never cheat and would never knowinly hurt anyone.
No day dreaming lol...only when i am at work and its normally about food lol

Wait, if a girl says, "Good Morning" or "Excuse me, but you're in my way" then that's not her trying to flirt with me?0 -
If you hide it, then it could be wrong. I say could because I have seen some spouses that are very controlling and jealous of any communication with others. So I will say it another way. If the goal is to flirt or hit on somebody than yes it is wrong, if it is support or a compliment its fine.0

Been on here for 2 mnths and the friends on here are great. Always postivle and supportive which is awesome. However i do feel guilty that when i pay others compliments etc that i am someway being a cheat. Should i stop?
No dont stop... your not cheating, flirting is free, you can look at the menu, just eat at home...1 -

This. There are many people on MFP who need the confidence boost to keep going. As long as everything stays on the walls, I don't see a problem with it. Many of us use MFP as our "playground" to have FUN. Period. If you are going to feel guilty about complimenting someone of the opposite sex on their hard work, then you shouldn't say "Hi" to them either. (Yes, my husband was on here with me at one point and according to him, saying "Hi" was flirting and therefore I was cheating on him, but he's crazy, so there.) Do you want to be crazy or do you want to have harmless fun?3 -
Are you saying or acting differently here than you would in front if your spouse? Your answer lies there...4
-
Share MFP with your SO. Your SO will, probably, get bored quickly and maybe laugh at you for being worried.
Unless things are going down in the PM's?1 -

I keep getting messages telling me I look good and I'm pretty sure people are trying to seduce me. Not that I can blame them.0 -

Does she lift up her shirt and show you her boobs? If she does...it is flirting. If not...just a regular day. Of course, my flirting skills are probably wrong.
showing people your boobs is a form of flirting?!? no wonder everyone thinks I like them!5 -

Boobs are over-rated..just another body part, like an arm or something1 -

This is a really weird question to ask the internet. Ask your wife how she feels about it.3

ladies, I apologize for Mr. 40's words making your body sound like nothing more than an amusement park. Unfortunately so many men look at women as a piece of meat. No offense meant to you Mr. 40, I just believe differently than you do sir.5 -

"Hey baby, you're so hot, but I have a hot wife and therefore you are my sister."
Something like that?
But my sisters are hotter than my wife. Outside of work-related communications, I only speak to ugly old hags.0
