I'm 5'5" :-)
SW 250
CW 145
Goal weight: I'm at it. 135-150 depending if I'm cutting or bulking. This is the "safe" range I've given myself for building muscle and cutting fat0 -

First goal is 170ish. Then probably 150 as the final goal. I'm really un-naturally muscular for a woman and would look awful if I got down as low as 125.
What does this even mean? If you have lots of muscle and you get super lean, you look awesome...not awful!

My goal weight was 150 but I still have quite a bit of chub... I'd like to build lean muscle and loose more fat... Looking more at inches for progress now.0 -

Will reassess when there. Plan to have some muscle so really aiming for uk size 12 clothing and to look fit.0 -
Just under 5'6" (is that close??)

SW (on mfp) 220

However I think 135 may be better but we'll see. I lift and work in a physically demanding job so who knows what will look best. Will keep evaluating while I lose the weight.0 -

I worded that incorrectly. I would absolutely love to be very muscular and super lean. I was around 125 at 15 years old, and I have gained a lot of muscle along with the fat since then. Somewhere in my mind I was thinking that to get down to 125 again, I would end up losing so much of the muscle I have worked hard to build and now maintain. Instead of a muscular lean woman, I was imagining myself as I was then.... a gawky somewhat skinny-fat teenager.

I initially thought I would be comfortable at 145, but at 155 I still have a lot of fat too lose. I will reevaluate after the next 10 pounds. Good luck everyone!1 -

I'm quite surprised at how low some of the goal weights are, to be honest. Maybe it's an age thing. I was a tiny little thing until my early 20s when it all went wrong After years of being plus sized, I now feel pretty svelte at around 140 and size 8-10. It's all relative.0 -

IMO, more like a basic build and muscularity thing, or a preference thing, or maybe all of the above. At age 60, with neither hips (much) nor breasts (at all), I was very far from svelte at 140 - but I'm not at all doubting that you are. There is quite a wide range of body types!1 -

I'm glad I found this.
SW: 76kgs (167)
CW:73kgs (160)
GW:65kgs (143)
I'm not very much concerned about how much I would weight, and its coming off slowly as I'm working on strength and muscle building. Doing 1200-1300cal/day and 3 hours swimming (drills)/week.0 -

There's little chance of building muscle on 1200 calories0 -
Cool
SW: 154

I'd be happy just making it back into the 130s again.0 -
I'm 5'4" (is it close enough?)
SW 172 (78 kg)
CW 130 (59 kg)
GW between 121 and 114, I'll see how I'll look like (55-52 kg)0 -
I'm 57 and a nice hourglass figure with 41"-31"-41".
SW 78.8 kg
CW 67.2kg
GW 66.5 kg
To me the way i feel and think about myself is more important than the scales. When i look in the mirror i see a lovely good proportioned figure. Those last few ounces are really not important anymore. If i never lose them, thats fine too.0 -

It's interesting seeing that some people at this height have a goal weight that is my current weight. My body apparently doesn't like my starting and current weight, as I have back pain caused by carrying all my weight in my lower tummy and chest region. A flatter stomach will help the back pain for me.
I wonder if some of us are better off at a lower weight than other people at this height because of where fat tends to distribute on an individual's body.1 -
I'm 5'5 too, I'm currently starting my journey
