You'll just find other reasons to work out and be healthy, like a long life to spend with your wife, being there for your kids, wanting to look good at family gatherings and work functions...it never ends5

Agreed. Just get some cats. They won't care what you look like.7 -
Yeah, kind of unfair on your future spouse to keep yourself in shape just to be desirable and then let it go to *kitten* after marriage. That's the trap..7
-
Unfortunately, it doesn't really work out that way.2

Yea, they'll just eat your face after you die because they tripped you on the stairs while you were still slim or after you die of a heart attack at home because you weigh 700lbs. Sounds like win-win there

I'm assuming you're really really joking. Besides marriage is over rated anyway.6

See total win-win! Then your surviving nieces and nephews can get a discount on cremation services. Less to take care of.0 -

Then I wouldn't have to keep working out and eating healthy to remain marketable for the fairer sex. If I was married, she would be mine and I would be hers for better or for worse.... <--- love that loop hole in the system!
Have you watched 90 day fiancé? A commodity spouse is only a click away!

Ha! There is a guy on there this season that has been complaining about his fiancée's weight since they finally met in person. When she can't keep up he calls her lazy. The entire show is insane.1 -
^that show...it is something else. He said her body was acceptable I believe. Blech.0

He clearly can't stand her and she's cheated on him already. That whole show is an awesome trainwreck!0 -

Add kids and they are wonderful....but thats the trap. You don't want to mess up their life by breaking apart their family unit and shattering their world so you just give up you. Then you become a non person. Thats what marriage is, For some people. However, then again, some people have happy happy times with their marriages for their whole lies...I mean lives....and have happy life long marriages. I read about that all the time on Facebook. So its different for everyone. Some people are in a wait and see. You just never know.
