Not so much can't as don't see the point. A fitness test should be about more than who can do some arbitrary from of torture for some arbitrary amount of time:1 -

Lift heavy things!
Too easy!
What are you talking about?
lifting heavy things... is further up in the thread..
I know. I was hoping he would elaborate why lifting heavy things is too easy.
Lifting is easy its all about the your recovery and how quick u can recover so this fitness test will tell you where u are!0 -

I really don't think you understand how fitness works. There's more to it than cardio endurance. In fact not even cardio endurance but single movement cardio endurance.1 -
To many excuses not many scores!0

The only thing it tells you is how many sloppy burpees you can do. And lifting isn't "easy". It is way more technical than burpees.2 -
Whys everyone so butt hurt about this? Its a challenge to, idk, challenge yourself? Trying to better myself and see what im capable of is plenty motivation to give this a try. Idk why youre all arguing about it if you dont care then dont do it simple as that2

I think I might be able to do 1/2 of 1...but may need help getting up after it. LoL I've watched them done correctly and wow yall that can do those and correctly amaze me. And those I've seen so them incorrectly scare me.1

Maybe he's on the school run, or needs to trim his nasal hair or something so he can't possibly spare 3 whole minutes....1 -
So
Squat
Jump feet back
Full to ground push up
Squat
Straight up jump
And repeat
And you're telling me people can do that in 2 seconds perfectly over and over again

Your level of fitness
No not your overall level of fitness. Burpees are only one small aspect of fitness.0 -

Yeah, why even post wanting people to take part in a challenge then stall to do it yourself. Lead by example!1

PS. I do burpees (sans push up) several times a week as part of bodyweight HIIT/tabata style stuff. I'm going to call that good enough.
I can (slowly) run 5k if asked, I can take things off couriers no problem when they warn me it's heavy, I can run up a flight of stairs without being breathless, I can touch my toes. Those are a better "fitness tests" than 3 minutes of burpees quite honestly. And any other fitness test I've ever done usually have a few markers to test overall fitness because being fit is a really broad term.3
