LOL - I've found sort of the opposite: My keys used to stay in the capacious pocket of my size 14W (or bigger) jeans. But the pockets in my size 4 misses jeans are so much smaller, even in the same brands, that the keys keep working their way out. I have to attach them to a belt loop, or I lose them!
Yeah, I imagine when I'm wearing appropriately sized jeans, they keys will not be lost... have belt loop attachment on standby.2 -
A bittersweet moment today. I no longer need to undo the button and zip on my favourite jeans to get them on or off.17

I managed to fit comfortably into my next two pairs of "goal jeans" this morning - down from something like a 20W (not entirely sure; I just used to buy cheap things from the Plus dept. with at least one X in the size!) to a 15/16 standard. They are a bit baggy around the butt and thighs, but a smaller size won't do up over my fat belly yet! (Seriously considering looking at maternity jeans just so I can have something that fits better on the legs!) I only have one more pair of jeans and a couple of pairs of casual pants that don't fit, now.
And secondly, I'm finally starting to see a smaller woman in the mirror and to like what I see! Sometimes I still think I look just as fat as ever, but more often than not these days I can see how much I've changed. I think it really helps that my waist is becoming more obvious, it makes me feel much less of a blob!
I still have a fair way to go, but I can better appreciate how far I've already come.
(A scale-related victory - I'm now the lowest weight I can remember being for about 20 years!)

Great! I've been doing the same thing. I have a lot to get rid of. Some I'm sad to see go because they are clothes I really love. Trying on clothes and finding them way too big makes me better see how much smaller I am now.13 -
I've got a couple.
1. I can do up my size 14 goal pants. They don't fit well enough to wear in public but they're getting close.
2. My hips are wider than my waist. It always used to be the other way around...28 -
I actually looked at myself in the mirror before my shower tonight and I didn't hate what I saw. In fact I was pretty proud and I know I can do it!23

One of my all time fav dresses is two big to wear to work... according to some colleagues. I think they are right.15

I'm short to begin with, but also have shorter arms and legs and a longer torso. I've always had a problem getting tall boots to zip up over my calves. Last week I ordered a really cute pair of black riding boots that came in "wide calf"--they came yesterday and not only did they zip right up, I could stick my hand all the way down inside! I couldn't believe it.
Got 'em packed up to return for the regular calf size:)29 -

Course, then this morning happens...I get out of bed in my boxer-briefs and a non-baggy Tshirt and I walk past my mirror and am startled. Holy *kitten*. My legs are so thin - except for all the muscle. I can see my thighs flex and my hips look great and my package isn't LITERALLY in a shadow under my gut. And my gut is invisible from this angle...and I see my shoulders and arms and chest starting to form the lines of what will be a very, very attractive man. Someday. The process IS the victory.
Holy hell man! Radiate your sexy self from the inside and sure as shizza your outside will match that! but I get it ....working hard and you want to totally LOVE what you see in the mirror. Keep pushin!!!!
I love that, but that never really works. I don't want to be the only one who thinks I'm sexy - make sense? I'm tired of telling myself how good I am. I got it. I believe it. Now I'm ready to move on - hence the work. you.6 -
I JUST RAN FOR 20 FECKING MINUTES WITHOUT STOPPING. 5 weeks ago I struggled running (jogging) for 60 seconds.44

I can so relate! I bought jeans, leggings, and even a SWEATER from Costco recently! Size 10 jeans, size large leggings, and a large sweater that probably should have been a medium - so very excited!!

Ok so I was tired, not feeling well, irritable and hungry. My first thought was that I should get Chinese food, with a Coke. I've been eating well, losing inches off my belly, etc. I made a sandwich and lemonade and it tasted great. Probably saved a 1000+ calories for the day.32

Got my reassessment done at the gym and my body fat% is down to 23.7%! Ultimate goal is between 18-20%.17

At a staff meeting yesterday the subject of showing too much cleavage came up and how it's not appropriate in a professional environment. I no longer have cleavage. A bittersweet NSV lol28

i used to tell women "go into the restroom stand in front of the mirror, lean down. if you are happy showing the view, then do not be upset when others enjoy it as well" most of them came back with a red face and an extra button or 2 done up. others needed the hr people to explain sexual harassment to them. it is wrong to intentionally distract co-workers12 -
I did running intervals today for almost a mile. 4 months ago I couldn't walk up my 8 stairs into my house without being very out of breath.

i wore these too-tight leggings i don't usually wear on monday. went to gym. caught sight of reflected profile in mirror; thought wow, nice bum.
came home and realised the leggings probably have lycra built in. adjusted bum expectations, moved on.
wore sloppy non-squeezy regular pants on thursday, went to the gym. caught sight of reflected profile in mirror; thought wow, nice bum.

I bought my last pair of goal pants in the current line I have been buying from. I started when I could not quite squeeze into a size 14. I can, with a little discomfort, successfully button the size 6. The size 6 is the smallest size in that line of jeans. Next time I have to buy nicer jeans.17

Went to try on my new tops today (which I'd purchased at the beginning of the week as all of my old ones were way too big for me) and found that they are all way too big as well, despite being the smallest size I have EVER purchased.
Now I have to return them and swap for a smaller size. And continue wearing my huge tops until I can get back to the shop.
Mildly irritating. But I'm happy about it. Ish.15 -
Pulling on a *brand new* pair of pants in the dark this morning while getting dressed! And they fit!11
