So what are yalls ideal weights? I'm between 5'2" and 5'3" and 20 years old. I started out around 160 and am now 118 but not sure what I should weigh. So just curious to see what others my height are shooting for!

    I'm 5'3" and 142lbs.

I believe you are within a healthy range on the BMI scale. If your body composition isn't what you desire, then you should look into strength training.

Edited to Add: I guess my ideal weight would be in the 130s but I seriously care more about losing bodyfat percentage than scale weight.

I'm a touch shorter than you - 5'1". My ideal weight has always been under 110 (usually 103-109-ish, thereabouts) but at my age I don't think I'll be trying to go down that far because I already see my face aging just from the loss I have now (50 lbs.). If it were a matter of health I'd go down to that weight anyway, I'm not THAT vain, but 120 should still be healthy for me so I am thinking 120-130 as my ideal and my "max."

I've seen threads like this before, its fascinating how individual we are when it comes to deciding on our "ideal weight". I'm 48 years old, 5'3" and weigh 124 pounds and for me, this is ideal. Now I just need to tone and strengthen.

Everyone has different frames and age can also factor in - a weight that was right at 20 might look wrong at 50 e.g.

For me at 5ft 2 and 47yo (and with lots of muscle) 128lbs looks good on me. I have a medium frame.

I'm 5'2'' and my initial goal is 160, so that I'm no longer in the obese range for my height. Though ideally I'd like to be a size 12 again, I think it looked much nicer on me when I see old pictures, and I think that was closer to 130lbs and a "normal" BMI weight.

I'm 5ft currently 116 pounds and my goal weight is 110. I chose 110 because it was in the middle range of my height BMI range.

I am 5'3" and 43 years old. In my early 20s, I weighed between 115-120 and my workouts consisted of all cardio. Now weight training is my focus and I find I look/feel my best at the 130-135 range. In other words, there are quite a few factors that go into your personal ideal weight.

I'm 5'2" and my top - end goal is 150 (about 15# less than where I am now). I am muscular from lifting and have big boobs, so I'm not sure much lower than 140 is going to be realistic for me. I will see how I feel and look when I hit 150 and go from there. My goal is to be healthy, fit, and strong, not necessarily thin or a certain weight. As Nia Shanks says, focus on the weight on the barbell, not the weight on the scale.

I'm 5'3 and currently weigh 124 pounds. I want to weigh somewhere between 115-120 pounds but less concerned about my weight and more focused upon looking lean!

5'3 and I felt good at about 135, would like to be 125 BUT the real goal is to be lean so if I end up weighing more I'm not going to sweat it if I look good!

I'm 5.2 and 40. My heightest was 152 and 2 years ago I got to 113. I always was around 115 in my younger years. 120 when I married 16 years ago. 113 was hard to maintain and I had to be obsessive to stay there. I ghinkn118-120 is my comfort zone. I'm back up to 126 and working to get back to 120 and hopefully be able to maintain it longer next time....

I am 5'0 and choose anywhere between 105-110 lbs. I feel it is a good weight to eat what I want but not be stick skinny. My lowest was about 102 lbs.

I'm 5'2.5" and maintain between 123-126. I know I could lose more. My upper body and back are extremely lean but my thighs have some fat and I definitely have belly fat (combined with tons of loose skin from 4 babies). I could try to lose that but I don't care honestly! I still wear a size small in pretty much all brands of clothes, anywhere from a size 3/4 pants to size 6 depending on brand and I'm perfectly content with that.

I do a lot of strength training so I feel like that has impacted how my body looks moreso than my actual weight. That's something to keep in mind as well.
