Those muscles can be trained without doing deadlifts.0 -

Agreed, no one cares how much you can deadlift or squat anyway. I just curl. Now THAT's a proper exercise.3 -

In, or out, of the squat rack?
inside the rack if the bowflex is taken.
Ah, OK. If it were out of the rack it'd be drop sets of 12 oz or 16 oz, depending on how I'm feeling that day.
But in? About...

I've deadlifted with the same trap/hex bar for over 10 years and a got SS Yoke Bar for squats this year.
Worth every penny.
I won't only use these bars but I have them and they are great so I use them every chance I get.
Deadlifting tomorrow on Wendler's 5/3/1 program, squats were Monday.
I definitely miss the SS Yoke when I am lifting somewhere without it, even though the SS Yoke makes squats even harder...0 -
@TresaAswegan I gotta think that shirt says "Deadlifing Rocks," right? I confess - my first thought was "Deadlifting Sucks." But that can't be right.0

It says Deadlifting Sucks lol. I also bought Squats Suck, Benching Sucks, and Powerlifting Sucks haha. I thought it was funny, especially for the days you do something like deficit deads for triples, not my favorite. As much as I enjoy it, some days suck.5 -

Haven't you heard ATG is bad for your knees? I wish more people would swallow their pride and stop worrying about dropping so low. You can get perfectly good results from a quarter reps...0 -

Off topic but I've got an eliteFTS SS Yoke bar and I love it. I've heard talk about how it puts more forward pressure on your back which makes squatting more difficult but I do not find that the case at all. If anything, it makes squats easier and better for me and I'm lifting much more weight because of it.
