Other people not minding their own business. Anyone who attempts to sell a MLM product even though they are strictly forbidden from advertising at our gym.17
-
Re-rack the damn weights! Put equipment away when you're done! Clean up. Just the common courtesy/gym etiquette stuff.46
-
Standing 2 ft away from the dumbbell rack and doing shoulder work, blocking access to the weights17
-
Loud treadmills. People who throw the weights when they're done.14
-
Yes people who throw weights.
People who rest for long periods and hog machines.15 -
-
Lmao @Carlos_4211

Centipedes. Especially the fast ones!!!8

Here we go again...
What about someone utilizing a longer rest period hurts you? It's not unreasonable for someone training for strength to have 3-5 minute rest periods.
Train for your goals in your way. Let other people train for theirs in their way.20 -

If the person resting lets others work in its all good22 -
Well, I have a home gym now, but when I first started lifting, the one that got me was people leaving 45 pound plates all over the place. I couldn't even lift them to move them away and hated asking for help all the time.
My nitpicky side would come out when the dumbbells weren't put away in order. I should have been happy that they were at least put away.11 -
People that don't use the locker room and carry bags and coats around. Oh and people that talk in the phone9
-
People who don't wipe down the machines after there use. Gross21
-
When people run hard and loud on the treadmill...4

I'm not real concerned about people wiping off machines unless puddles This has just been a thing in the last 20 years or so
What is disturbing though is the dude thst leaves a major transaction that stinks out the locker room and walks past the sinks without stopping to go workout.15 -
When gallant gentlemen at the gym offer to carry those heavy weights back to the rack for me. Um... you did just see me lift those up and down for the past hour, right?35
-
People who try to talk to me at the gym.22

Because they are usually talking loudly and it messes with concentration. And hearing people's personal business is annoying too.28 -

It's a long freaking list.
-supersetters
-people who wait ON the machines
-people who use weight machines like chairs and sit on them while texting, looking at Facebook, etc.
-people who move too slowly...get the heck out of the way!
-people who do not wipe off the weight machines, *especially* during cold/flu season
-people who work out while actively sick/contageous
-people who stand in the front in a dance fitness class when they can't keep up/have no idea what they are doing
-people with no musicality, timing or ability to count who try to take dance fitness classes
-people moving the wrong way in a group class...especially if they are doing this in my blind spot
-people who pretend to work out--move your kitten or go home
-pool staff who don't understand lap swimming
-people who PLAY in the lap lanes during lap swim time
-people who cut across lap lanes in the middle of the pool (so dangerous!)
-slow swimmers who think that they are fast
-people who play their music without headphones
-changing room slobs
Basically, people are the issue.

This is one of my favorite things about having a home gym. I can do whatever supersets I want without annoying anybody.8 -
People leaving hundreds of pounds of weights on the bars and walking away without taking them off.13

Wow are you judgemental on the people in group classes! And I say this as a former dancer. I'd rather have all of those unco-ordinated people in my class giving it a go. Key here is dance fitness, it's for all comers. It's hardly pro level ballet and a beginner rocks up (which by the way, the dancers would just work around in the class anyway).
I workout at home. So my lard *kitten* boy cat plonking himself in the middle of my space as I'm about to get going would be my annoyance!58 -

I agree with you. It's not a dance troupe or a ballet. It's exercise. People there to better themselves and improve their health.

I'm glad I don't go to the same gym as that poster, I'm the one with two left feet. You should see me in step class.27 -

So glad my gym bans this.michael1976_ca wrote: »People who don't wipe down the machines after there use. Gross
That's why I wipe them down before I get on. I actually wipe them down with my own sanitizing wipes because of allergies and had a problem once that landed me in the ER(yes I asked the gym if they were safe for the equipment).azulvioleta6 wrote: »It's a long freaking list.

Wow, just wow. Judgemental much? I would rather have dozens of uncoordinated people in a class I'm taking than someone who believes they are better than everyone and judges everyone else in the class.
Very glad I don't go to your gym. Sounds like you judge everyone and get annoyed by the smallest things.
