Maybe it's because it was cold but I ran 4.2 miles in 42 minutes at a 6.1 mph pace. That is way faster than I normally do! It also might have been because I was excited to get back to it since a migraine set me back like 5 days.27

Love this!

Very busy at work these days culiminating in an assembly with about 300 co-workers which I was moderating. Wore a new-ish black dress and a colleague said "Nice LBD!" ... huh, me? LBD? Wow.13

Every day I put 9 Hershey Kisses (1 serving) in a bowl and I get to eat them whenever I'm overcome with need. And I log it of course. My NSV is over the past week, almost every morning when I go to refill my bowl there have been one or more kisses left in the bowl--THAT I FORGOT ABOUT! I'm thinking I may actually be weaning myself off of them inadvertently!
Great idea!!! Er, no Hershey kisses in Luxembourg4 -

Yay -me too!! Donating blood is a lot easier now!!!5 -
I realized yesterday afternoon that the bag of Justin's Organic Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups I bought on clearance after Halloween is still mostly full. I keep it stashed in my desk at work and a few years ago that bag wouldn't have lasted a week!17

My 12 year old daughter liked my dress yesterday so I let her try it on. It fit her. I can share (some) clothes with my healthy, normal-sized kid!16

Scale hasn't been moving much this past month, so I love coming here and getting perspective!
Even though I haven't seen much movement on the scale the last month, I fit into three pairs of pants and a couple of shirts from my closet that a month ago were two small (and I haven't worn in years). Feels great to wear "new" clothes and have been getting lots of compliments!
Also, between the stomach flu that went through our house last week and being extremely busy at work I have missed my workouts for the last week and a half. And I really miss them! It is amazing what exercising does!16 -
I have kind of a generalized NSV that I'm really pleased about: I've been fitting foods I love into my goals easily! Last time I was losing I kept my diet really rigid, but this time I'm finding it really is okay to have some "junk." Yesterday I had fast-food twice, today I'm having stroopwafels with my coffee and will have pizza for dinner, and I still have plenty of room for snacks or a cocktail if I want one. I keep going on and on about this, but it's just such a refreshing change from my usual starve-or-binge habits!34

A guy at the work holiday party told me I looked hot. I wish I didn't need the outside validation (and I do think I look great), but having really never had it before, particularly from someone I also think is attractive, I really appreciated that.24

Haven't flown since May, which I right about when I was at my heaviest. Was basically fully extending the seat belt and was at risk for having to ask for an extender.
Literally on a plane right now and not only closed the seat belt on the first try p, but have a decent amount of room to spare.30 -
Finished my 7th weightlifting session this morning. Nice to have my body adjust to the program more. So far I have worse DOMS in my arm from my flu shot yesterday than benching haha.9

I logged nearly everyday from Feb thru sometime in Sept when I got cocky... and lazy... and I've backslid a few lbs. Well the past 3-4 weeks I've been hitting the gym harder than ever and now I've logged 4 consecutive days in a row. I can already tell it's making a difference as I feel less bloated in the mid section. Hopefully by Christmas I'll be at my lowest weight since I started and under 230 so I can start to plan my skydiving trip. I was not going to let the eating/snacking pleasures of Christmastime get the best of me!21

Yesterday I completed day 2 of week 1 of C25K and am really happy. It is not much, but just 10 months ago I couldn't even get day 1 done! I really would love to be able to run a half marathon maybe in 2018??18

I was crazy proud when I ran my first 5km a few weeks ago (well not sure I could out run the zombies, but it counted as running )
Sadly I have an inflammation with swelling around the spine right now, so slow walking (definitely not outrunning the zombies at the moment) is all I can do. I can't wait to get back to it!9 -

Sooooo looking forward to the 5k!!!
Take the time to fully heal, it's very important (or at least so I've read!! ). Hope you feel better soon!

I was really in panic mode yesterday for my exam and my natural response is eating enough chocolate to feed an army. I didn't buy the chocolate because it was going to start a bingeing cycle, I just knew it. I will buy my chocolate and eat it today though, but that's because in this state of mind I can buy a small bar which will fit into my calorie allowance and move on with life. Baby steps.35

I've been doing this as well! I bought a pack of 12 mini chocolates (70 calories each) and told myself I could have one any day that I have spare calories, but no changing around meals to shove it in there (like eating all 12 and skipping lunch and dinner. ). I'm very proud of myself because it's been working for about 4 weeks now--and I don't feel the NEED to eat them every day or overeat them!20
