Looking for friends who don't eat "clean" and healthy

I just think that life without treats is pretty darn bland!
My labs are improving, my energy is better, my resting heart rate is lower, my weight is lower, and my blood sugar numbers are lower. All this and I still enjoy food, just less of it than I might really want. I just plan things out and make room for treats and delicious foods on the regular.6 -
This is my kind of thread! I have people telling me all day, every day that what I eat matters...I just smile and nod politely while I continue taking the wrapper off the snack sized Snickers you were trying to tell me not to eat. My best success has been counting calories...does not matter WHAT I eat at the time, as long as I stay under my calories. It's only when I stop paying attention to what I eat to I get in trouble.12

Just wanted to jump in and say, yeah I eat plenty of fruits and veggies and whole grains, but the other half of my diet would make a clean eater cry organic, unprocessed tears of tragic sadness.
And the regular Fiber One bars are pretty good, but I found the cheesecake ones disappointing. I have a special relationship with cheesecake though, so maybe that was the problem26 -
I had a slice of birthday cake and a glass of wine last night. And was down 4 1/2 pounds on the scale this morning...16

Hahaha if anyone says they eat 100% on point all the time there lying or not human! Sometimes its those little slips that get us by! What i think is healthy some people that dont understand calories would call "fattening". Eat what you want if it fits!10

A lot of what I eat would probably be accepted by the clean and healthy crew, but i just murdered a pastrami sandwich and a package of......OREOS!.
That's right. Best cookie ever invented. And I'm gonna do it again.
Come at me25 -
The only clean eating I do is washing my fruits and veggies. Bring on the cookies, ice cream and wine (maybe not all at the same time though). Feel free to add.12

I can't tell you how free I felt when I got it in my head CICO. Sunday I had Salmon, brussels sprouts and Funfetti cake w/ chocolate icing. 30 down and not wanting a thing.17

mm food.
I eat "healthy" and I eat "junk foods" - as long as it fits in my calories, I eat. (and sometimes over my calories too )4 -
I usually eat a mix of healthy and not so healthy. I like IIFYM and find if I deprive my self I will fail. Feel free to add me!4

This is why I have no friends on MFP. Either that, or I keep declining the friend requests. Not sure which.

Yaaassss! I am a foodie first. I love all kinds of food and love to cook. I cook with real butter. I've found that if I'm craving something and I deny myself or try to eat the "healthy" version, I still crave what I wanted in the first place. My motivation for exercise is that it allows me to eat my calories back and have that piece of Dove Dark chocolate in my purse at the end of the day.
I lost 30 pounds last time, went through a divorce and gained it all back. Gonna lose it again plus more so I can sssslllllaaaaayyyy during the summer12 -

Na... it just means that your kryptonite hasn't been mentioned yet...
But then again... maybe I've got a stale old dog treat left somewhere in a corner.3 -

This is me, too. If I tried to tell myself I "can't" have certain things, I'd crave them all the more! So I'm just slowly chugging along eating the stuff I like and not worrying about the "OMG it's PROCESSED!!! It's soooooo BAD for you!!!" people.
Thinking that I had to give up things I enjoy and be hungry and miserable is what kept me fat for so long. I love this method!

My coworkers have gone on yet another one of those fad diets where they cut out this and cut out that.
It's the stuff of nightmares.10
