They aren't turning black are they?
No, they look normal. Does that mean they'll go back to feeling normal soon?0 -

I see all of the pregnant women and their posts and groups and I'm just so freaking happy to not be pregnant. Not being pregnant is my favorite.0

Well they just laid off at least half a dozen people. Two (or three?) of my peers came in this morning, got a talking to, and left, with empty desks.0

I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a job is a terrible thing.
I will be honest though.... if that just happened at my job I would probably log off any non-work websites ASAP

Beth says if they fire me, we're moving out of the country. The boss says they're done, though. Missed my chance.0

My mom has worked at a newspaper for over 30 years. They were recently bought out as the newspaper dies and for the past few months her position has changed countless times, all while watching people she's worked with for decades being laid off. She's still not certain if she's safe yet. Makes everyday hell. She's about 6 years from retirement, now worrying she'll have to start somewhere new. Scary.0 -

I'd never get fired for internet habits. Then where would the IT team find all the really great porn?
