I wouldn't say I don't eat healthy, but I eat a balanced diet, which also includes some unhealthy things, so decide what category you want to put me in.0

You can add me. I eat what I feel like eating and focus on macros. I just happen to enjoy both nutrient dense whole foods AS WELL as other so called "junk" foods. I won't judge. I have so worried about the same thing when my diary is open to friends.

I settled down with a plate of cheesecake to read some comments about how you're all going to die from sugar cancer unless you eat 100% clean and haven't seen a single one. Not even a mention of kale. Where's the broscience?
Hmphhh.
KALE!!!!
Happy now?
(I tried to like kale chips. I really did. Figured they might be a good low-cal snack, but no. Those things are disgusting!)6 -
Currently eating sour cream and cheddar chips.7

Guinness is only 109???
I'm all over that *kitten*.2 -
Dinner tonight was my mom's homemade spaghetti sauce, meatballs, sausage...in a WHITE sub roll. (Buttered, toasted). Mmmmm. Oh - and radishes on the side with low fat sour cream dip.6

I eat candy and junk food every day. No exceptions.
I mean, I eat healthy stuff too, but you'll find a lot of junk food in my diary too.5 -
I feel so dirty eating this cucumber and spinach salad.... but I'll make it right by having chocolate later.10

That's the spirit! Log the salad and move on... be honest with yourself about having eaten it, but don't beat yourself up over it!23 -
This post made me happy9

Had McDonald's for breakfast and Dominoes for lunch/dinner. And an oatmeal creme pie for a snack. Well under my calories for the day. No one says jack to me about my diary.12

Today, I had a lemon filled donut, a chocolate chip cookie, and ate Fazoli's spaghetti with bread sticks for supper.6

Food is joy. I can't see it as straight sustenance, I like it too much. Particularly fatty salty food (hey there cheese).
I'm eating healthy to lose weight for my health.
But try to take this pizza away from. Just try. I dare you.
And I recently discovered ranch (not a huge thing where I live) and I may be ruined for life.
Life is about balance. All things in moderation.10 -

There's none worth mentioning where I live unless it's imported and outrageously expensive... It has cut down on my consumption regularly as I have to hope on people going overseas to bring me a bottle every now and then... I end up stretching it with a bit of cream to make it last longer.3 -
Bumping the thread to tell a little story. Today was a day with some emotional trauma; got more than one piece of news that really threw me. I reacted with some stress eating. Now I've never been a hard core binger, so take my experience with a grain of salt. Got to the end of the day - tracked it all - and was 300 calories above maintenance. That is a theoretical .1 pound gain. I fully believe if I had fought against eating my emotions and ate "what I should have" that I would have eaten more. I was honest with myself, took it as one day, and remembered that one day is not forever.17

A PACKAGE? lol. I have never done that. They are my favorite cookies. I approve. Also, they're shockingly vegan.2 -

It boggles the mind.
I noticed her magazine on the rack at the supermarket checkout today - the headline was something like "I've finally made my peace with food". I couldn't help thinking, "Oh really? We'll see..."
I wonder if she keeps all her fat clothes for when she puts the weight back on? Although I doubt it - she could afford a brand new wardrobe every season if she wanted it!4 -

Come to the dark side. We have cookies, literally. And I recently discovered ranch (not a huge thing where I live) and I may be ruined for life.
Put it on everything. Everything.7 -
I live for the local family owned restaurant's fried pork tenderloin sandwich. SO good... Probably like 9000 calories (seriously, the thing is the size of a plate), but worth it on occasion. It's a midwest thing.
I also eat fruits and veggies and yogurt and cheese and fast food and hot dogs. :Psmotheredincheese wrote: »I'm really disappointed by this thread.

Ugh i love cheese cake! Strawberry cheesecake blizzards are amazeballs!
I also currently have 4 leftover slices of a strawberry cheesecake blizzard cake in my freezer from a family thing I had at the house.3 -
Including rice. My hubby often loves to mix it into his rice, no matter what else we're having with the rice! I did try it myself and it was pretty good, but that was before I started counting my calories - I'd want too much of the stuff on the rice...

The other evening, after work, I met with a friend at her house to discuss some plans. I ended up having a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers (I was surprisingly VERY good with the cheese). I had planned, since I would be close to my favorite grocery store, to get the shopping done while in the neighborhood. But what I thought would be a quick in and out with my friend ended up taking two hours, and I was STARVING by the time I was done. Bad to go to the store so hungry, especially a Wegmans. So, I went to the Mexican joint around the corner, and had a margarita and something smothered in cheese. I then thought, since I'd already blown the calorie goal for the day, to go big or go home. I got an eclair at Wegmans. The next night, I ate more cookies then I meant to.
I'm still losing, though! Because 90% of the time, I'm good and eat lots of "healthy" things.5 -
Yea I pretty much do a lil of both.. I do drink protein shakes because I have to get alot of protein ( i started IIFYM) but so happy I can throw in some Oreos!! Oh an I ate greek yogurt/with a scoop of protein powder toped with a Reeses pb heart4
