3 month/ 14 week Challenge

I've organised a weight loss challenge at work until the end of March so this is ideal.
Starting at 231 lbs. (gulp)1 -
Ooooh can I join too? My target is more about reducing fat percentage and to do it I'm attempting the Mike Matthews Thinner Leaner Stronger - so 4 lifting sessions pw and 1 HIIT Cardio, along with sticking to 1800 cals and my 'macros' (which I am finding super hard.... if anyone has got any whizzy tips on that much appreciated!)
So before Christmas my weight was 69kg and my fat percentage was 29%. I absolutely can't face weighing/measuring yet so plan to do my first 'weigh in' last day of Jan and thereafter weekly.
My target is to get to at least 25% fat and ideally 20%.
I am on Day 3 of on track eating and I am starting my training sessions this Sunday.... yikes!
My weak spots: snacking (usually pretty healthy stuff just CONSTANT), following a small slip up with 'oh to hell with it blowout'.....

I'd like to join too please! I've been on and off losing weight for 6 years - lost 85lb so far and have about 40lb to go until my target weight. Started using myfitnesspal again this year to help me lose this weight and keep it off for good! Being held accountable every week is the only way to do it Starting weight is 180lb, goal weight by March 31st is 165lb. We can do this!!1

I weighed myself today to see how the week has been. Went from 133 on Monday to 131.6 today!2

My current weight is 145 pounds.
My goal by the end of March is 120 pounds. It's my ultimate goal, so we shall see if I can reach it by then.
I seem to lose slow, but once I'm in a good routine it starts to go faster, so hopefully!
I will check in every Saturday morning after this initial status update.

We are coming up on our first weigh-in. I sent invitations to everyone but seeing that we only have 5 members right now makes me think that they all didn't go through. Maybe just going to the link and joining from there will work better. I'll try to resend more invitations and see if that works also. Sorry for the problems.

It's bright and early here. I've got a 11.5km trail race (thankfully its cooled down from the 41c/106f). I'm on holidays from work at the moment so hopefully there's a change to the scales next week.

What works: plan, track but never go below 1200 calories/day so my body doesn't start to store fat. Plus, reduce calories by 500/day with a combination of exercise clean eating and smaller portions = 3500/week (1 lb.).

First check-in! This past week, I've been doing four things differently: 1) Being sure to drink at least eight glasses (64 oz.) of water per day; 2) Being sure that I eat at least one serving of fruit and one serving of vegetables per day (I know—but it's better than what I was doing!); 3) Logging meals and staying slightly under/slightly above my calorie goal; and 4) Getting in my 10K steps per day. I've also gone for a run (normal, when it's warm enough) and done a few strength training workouts (when it's too cold to run). Since I'm aiming for an average of -1lb a week, I'm happy about the kick-start!

I lost a little, and I'm sure it's because I'm doing dry January. I just got back from the Vet, and my dog is overweight too, so I'm adding him to the challenge. We've been gaining weight together, so hopefully we can lose it together. Good luck everyone!

Challenge Weight Loss Goal: 13kg/28.6lb
Im hoping as I just put on 4.2kg / 9.24lb in last week of December (Damn Xmas bingeing) I will drop a fair bit in the first weeks of January, once I get back into routine, fingers crossed.
Struggling to get back into the right mindset, DO NOT be tempted by all food you see!!! but still losing...
Must remember in future 1 week of bingeing, costs 3 weeks of catch up. So 4 wasted weeks.
