I'm back! Lost 9.6 pounds in December with that group. I was still 2.6 pounds away from my New Years goal, but I technically still have one more day, right?! Lol. Anyways...

I'm 4.5 years post-VSG, and have been backsliding over the past 2 years. Its time to refocus my priorities, and get my *kitten* back in line with my long term goals!! No more sugar, no more bad carbs, no more stupidity. I'm better than this!!!7 -

I'm not feeling that bad about the tiny gain as I feel very motivated and back on track. I know it is awful to say, but I'm so glad the holidays are behind me. This was a tough week, mentally. I did a great job with exercise and diet (aside from last night's high-sodium Mexican dinner), but my weight spiked early in the week and seemed like it took forever to settle back down. It wasn't until yesterday that I thought I had a shot at breaking even for the week. Water retention, I guess? At any rate, I'm proud of this week's little loss: it took more determination than usual to beat back my inner naysayer, but I did it!
One more week! Let's do this!!!7 -

Pretty sure this is all water weight. Finally got back to my normal work out schedule, had a ton of sodium all week and yesterday, and haven't been drinking enough water. My weight has been all over the place this week (up two pounds one day from the day before, down a pound and a half the next day, but up two pounds again the next day) so I'm not surprised that I "gained" from last week.
Hoping to lose this water weight and a bit more weight next week to get down to 185.6 but we'll see what happens.
