Yesterday I attended and successfully completed my first Pilates class... And, y'all, it was a breeze! When I first started working out at the gym back in August of last year, I had next-to-no core strength and now I'm a sit up and plank machine!!

What did you do for your core? That is where I am the weakest and it's affecting my ability to advance in other areas. I'm sure the answer is planking, but if it's not planking, please let me know.

Decided to get on the erg for the first time in years. It was a torture device when I rowed in college and I haven't touched one in at least 10 years. That's an nsv in itself, but I had 2 more--

    1) I started my first 500 meter sprint and had to stop and check the resistance bc it felt so easy! Nope, it was set to max. Ended up doing 6 500 meter sprints mixed in with my lifting.

2). I felt compelled to tell the dad "teaching " his daughter how to use the rower that she needed to lower her arms (I was afraid she'd hit herself hard in the throat!) and explode with her legs. I mentioned i rowed in college and he checked me out and said, "I can tell!"

Erging for the win! I'm going to the CRASH-B's in February. Can't wait!
