No weight loss to report but I am impressed I have stayed within my calorie goal and exceeded my activity goal! After falling off the wagon for quite a few months it's not so easy!

So, I decided to weigh in a day early. I wanted to see how my eating matched up with my January results.

    Challenge SW: 12/29/16: 216.0
    CGW 6/15/17: 186.0
UGW: approx. 156.0 (based on initial goal body fat of 23%)
Weight loss method: Weighing, measuring and logging all of my food. Ensuring I have enough protein and good fats for satiety. Kettlebell and lifting workouts. This past week I averaged 132g of protein per day and 32g of fiber. My goal is 130g of protein each day and 25g of fiber.

    1/5/17: 213.0, -3.0
    1/12/17: 211.2, -1.8
    1/19/17: 209.6, -1.6
    1/26/17: 208.4, -1.2
    2/1/2017 206.8, -1.6

Challenge Loss: -9.2 (20.8 to go!)

My sleep has been a challenge, but I think I finally feel caught up and back on track (my sleep schedule got totally out of wack when my two littles were sick). Thankfully, everyone in the household is healthy and I'm hoping it stays that way for the rest of the winter. #knockonwood.

Four workouts in the past six days. I noticed I've become pretty fatigued lately, both in terms of energy and and muscle fatigue, so I'm trying to make sure that I don't burn out with my workouts and have adequate rest days.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress!

Keep up the great work everyone!

(I changed my profile pic. The one I had before was from 2011 and I was 20 pounds lighter. No sense in having an inaccurate picture up there.)

I haven't lost any weight this week, either. After so many good weeks, it's frustrating to not lose anything. But we just have to stay strong, and stay within our calorie range, and exercise more. Believe in the program, and it WILL work! You can do it!

I plan on posting a progression photo when I'm down 20 pounds... hopefully before the end of the month! But I'll just post it here or on my profile page.... the selfie thread is too stuff filled with beautiful people, and I'm not ready for that yet!

Weigh-in day for me today. I had ortho-shoulder surgery last Thursday. Believe it or not I gained about 11 pounds of water weight from the IV during surgery. I was in the restroom every two hours for about three days getting rid of all that water. I was bummed out after surgery when I stepped on the scales, but each day I felt better as I lost pounds of water each day. I don't recommend surgery as a way to go about a net loss of 2 pounds in a week, but know that at least in my case surgey/IV yields major short term water weigh gain.

    SW - 200
    1/1 - 198
    1/7 - 187
    1/13- 184
    1/20 - 184
    1/26 - 182.4
    2/3 - 180.4
    GW - 160
    Ideal Weight - 148

Last week's success: Shoulder surgery recovery! Getting off narcotics!
This week's challenge: Getting below the 180 pound mark
