See a doc. This could be minor or major, but the sooner the better is what I would do.2

Definitely see a doctor. One cause of dizziness after eating is that the heart isn't able to increase its rate, so the increased need for blood during digestion results in less blood flowing to the brain. You might consider snacking more, so you aren't trying to digest as much at one time.2

Go to a doctor. I get dizzy and pass out very frequently (several times each day), and I have vasovagal syncope. Large meals can make it worse, but the only person who can tell you what you need is a medical doctor.7

Yes, I wondered about this. Digestion takes a lot of blood flow and if your blood pressure is low I could imagine this making you dizzy. You need to see a doctor ASAP.4 -
Take a pregnancy test (if it applies). Might be feeling faint from rapid blood volume expansion and other hormonal changes like the progesterone surge. Also please go see a doctor!3

See a doc asap!
but it does sounds like a sugar crash from lack of calories, you are very much under feeding your body and its letting you know you need to feed it.1 -
Okay well, I'm glad you're seeing a doctor soon but let's state the facts so far:
This has been gradually getting worse for TWO months.
Your profile doesn't list where you live. Do you live in a country where it takes months to book a doctor's appointment? Something like this going on for two months is downright scary and every day you could be damaging your body even more. How much weight have you lost over the past two months eating like this?
You get dizzy if you eat more than a little bit.
Your diary only goes back less than two weeks. I see for a few days you were able to hit almost 1200. Aside from the day you ate a cinnamon roll, your higher calorie days tend to be lower in sugar which brings me to the next fact.
You said no when someone asked if you're eating a lot of refined sugars.
One look at your diary shows this is incorrect. Cookies show up in your diary often and you had a cinnamon roll the other day. Other than that, I see a lot of fruit which has sugars, though not refined. I would guess this has something to do with it, as you may be having sugar spikes/crashes, which leads me to suggest you need to see a doctor now, not in March.
We can't diagnose you over the internet and the advice will be very generic. The advice you should follow is of those telling you to get to a doctor ASAP, even if you have to go to the ER. Yes, you've been able to deal with this for two months, but you're saying it's getting worse, so imagine how much worse it will get by March.7 -

Yeah I had a cookie a couple days because I graduated school and we made them.
I live in Canada and the soonest I could get to my doctor is March. I have been dealing with it but it is scary and it prevents me from doing things and going places. Last time I checked my weight I had lost 16 pounds.
I'm doing my best I am 19 and I just started living by my own and I buy what I can that's healthy but it's not always easy.

If you live in Canada you should be able to go to the emergency room or a community health clinic right away. I think you should do it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the amount of sugar you have been eating - it is pretty low. It's just that the refined sugar might have made the dizziness worse, depending on what's causing it. I think you should head over to emerg or a health clinic right now, and tell a doctor exactly what you have told all of us. Good luck9

Hey Sarahrusse_ I'm not a doctor, but am familiar with that symptom ... I'm sure it can be a symptom associated with many different things, but in my case it is associated with POTS. Both my daughters and nieces have POTS - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. There are many symptoms which may be associated with it, but one of the main things is low blood pressure. When you eat, your body is trying to digest the food, and the blood starts to pool in the stomach area and doesn't move fast due to the low pressure. Small frequent meals, more salt and more water can help to alleviate that. Bring up the possibility with your doctor. Usually POTS patients are treated by a cardiologist. My 17 year old feels sick after every meal because of this. She just has to be careful how much she eats in one sitting as well as what types of food she eats at one sitting. Look up the syndrome ... you may find you have several of the other symptoms. You don't treat the syndrome ... you treat the symptoms to feel better. There's many different web sites ... here's just one ... http://myheart.net/pots-syndrome/6

POTS is most commonly known for causing dizziness upon standing. In some cases, patients actually faint when trying to stand, earning POTS the nickname of “the fainting disease”. However, dizziness and fainting are just a few of the many often debilitating symptoms POTS patients battle on a daily basis. Additional symptoms include:
Headaches
Nausea
Abdominal pain
Chronic Pain (General)
Chest Pains
Heart Palpitations
Fatigue
Shortness of Breath
Insomnia
Brain Fog
Sweating Abnormalities
Weakness
Bladder Dysfunction
Tremors2 -
Please go to an urgent care. It's not safe for you to feel faint or dizzy at all...driving, others, kids, etc! It could be as simple as a deficiency or a little more involved.2

Hon, if your doctor can't see you right away, please go to a walk-in clinic or Emerg. It's probably best if you go to Emerg anyway, since your doctor or a clinic won't have the testing resources that the hospital will, and they'd likely just refer to to the hospital anyway.
Please don't wait. It's probably nothing, but it's time you found out since it's obviously not getting better on its own.2 -
You should eat at least 1,200 calories per day. Try that and see if it helps. If you're still dizzy, see a doctor.1
-
When I was pregnant, both times, this would happen. It was my blood sugar dropping. I only had it happen when I was pregnant. You may try high protein foods with your meals (I was told this but it didn't help) or suck on some candy. To confirm this, take your blood sugar level with one of those prick machines and see what it says before vs after eating.1
-
I don't know if you are overweight or have an eating disorder and are thin. Either way, you lack a balanced approach toward food. Seeing a doctor is your best bet.6
-
I echo what others have said....you need to see a Dr before March.
Also, after looking at your diary, you are not getting enough protein, vegetables and fruit. You are eating empty calories. This, of course, is my opinion. I am not a Dr, nor a nutritionist.1 -
Your breakfast today of 1 cup Rice Krispies and 1 cup milk is, prima facie, not accurate. Get a scale. Use it.0

Even if one was eating "clean", this could be met.

Walk in clinic.
Hospital emergency.
GP STAFF: hey, this is a bit of an emergency as I am losing weight rapidly without wanting to, could I hang around the office all day and be seen if there is an opening?7 -
Everyone is different. I am a high endurance athlete and my calorie count isn't high either. Don't always feel obligated to eat more calories if you are full.0

Did you read the post? She says she feels dizzy after eating anything. This is not normal and she should see a doctor.6 -

Getting a scale and measuring her foods won't solve her problem.3 -
Trying my best here.
To put it in perspective I got up at 8:30, drank lots of water, had two pieces of toast with peanut butter and bananas on them at 9:30, and now I can't get up because the whole room is spinning and I feel like I'll faint or fall down.
I wouldn't be able to eat unless I am able to say home for 2h afterwards because that's how long it takes to go away.
Thanks1 -
Get a taxi/cab and get to the emergency room - this is NOT normal7

Again, please go to the hospital and get checked out. This is now negatively impacting your life to the point where you can't even eat unless you're home. Can you not see that's an issue?
Btw, you don't have to be bleeding to death or dying to go to Emerg. They see all levels of patients every day. Don't feel that your case isn't 'urgent' enough to warrant a trip to the hospital.4
