Morning!
Took time yesterday to empty the foyer closet of its contents. Unfortunately those 'contents' ended up in my master bedroom closet since I have no other closets available.
Why? Because I need to dismantle the existing shelving and closet rack in order to install a new closet organizing system that will triple my storage space. I love doing DYI home improvement projects.
Yesterday was a drop dead gorgeous day here. I spent the time and good weather to get many outdoor chores done. Replaced the solar lighting fixtures that illuminate my walks with better solar fixtures that throw more light on the stairs and walks. The front steps were a hazard unless I had the porch light on. Also power washed the back deck (lots of bird poop) and the floor of the two car garage (road salt and crap from the roads) so it wouldn't eat the concrete. Still need to get mulch on the backyard waterfall lupine flower bed before Spring but it looks like we might have a few goods days next week for that.
With the arrival of new Pokemon creatures, I've been getting more walking in. I'm not a die hard fan but it makes the walks interesting as there is usually something new to see and maybe catch.

Hi all!
Bea -utiful day here in Hove. Went to the beach with the grandchildren and their parents. Had ice cream from a homemade Italian place. I had lemon sorbet.
Really warm out. Masses of people enjoying the weather.
Thought you all could do with a Bea fix. A pic from this pm. She loved her sunglasses.
Now I'm cooking up my chicken in walnut sauce for the parents. I brought it with me. I've laid the table nice and posh, so we look like a proper restaurant!
Love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxx

I just spent an hour or so vacuuming downstairs and began to wonder about those robot vacuums. Does anyone have them? If so, how do you like them? Good things & bad things appreciated. :flowerforyou:
No, I don't have one either but think I'd like to try one out. It seems like I could vacuum up dog hair 24/7.

Marni- love the GIFs!
Rita from gabby CT
Thanks Rita - I found a stash of them with this cute character and thought they might be fun to use as placemarks here in the discussion group. They make me smile - I’m glad you like them :-) .. btw - Gypsies ROCK!Marni AK: Your stationary biker is doing is exactly what I did this morning before yoga. Then I did more of it at home on our recumbent in the living room.
Katla - I would love a recumbent. Do you find there is less stress on your spine with them as compared to a sitting up bike?
MASSIVE hugs going out to everyone :-)

I'm glad y'all enjoyed the jokes. When I get something really funny in my email; I do try to share it. Have a GREAT weekend. I'm about to go outside where Louis is to see if there is anything I can do to help. I don't have the energy to tackle my studio even though I need to. Maybe when we have a weekend that starts off being really goo weather; I can go in and empty it and do it like I really want to. Right now it looks like a 'dump'. Just everything (both ours and DOS's) has been just thrown in.

Gym this morning, bike, rower and treadmill 20 mins on each with some HIIT thrown in. 75 squats on challenge today and 2 min plank.
Trying to stay under calories but wanting to snack, so far logged everything and am just under. Annoyed with myself as tomorrow is weigh in. Just can't seem to get under 127 lbs but still got love handles and belly fat to lose.

Great workout! Have you thought of the keto diet because of the fat burning mode? Your fat absolutely disappears off of your body because your body is using fat as fuel. The first fat that seems to disappear is your liver and belly fat. No more muffin top or love handles!1 -

Had the worst headache ever yesterday... So much so that I got sick. That has never happened before. Took Tylenol, went to bed early, and massaged the back of my scalp until I fell asleep. Sometime during the night my headache went away, thank goodness. Woke up with a real sore scalp though! Just taking easy today.
I have been using this new soap "Kirks Coconut Soap", and my complexion has improved. Being that it's a pure ingredients kind, it leaves my skin squeeky clean. In a bit it turns soft feeling so I haven't been using any coconut oil on my skin. I'm using this soap for a whole month to see how it changes my complexion for the better.
Please be good to yourselves my friends. Put yourselves first and foremost in your lives, because you are worth it!

Call me crazy but I love to see other people happy and succeeding .
Good Evening My Dear Friends,
Beth, so glad you got a good report on your DH’s MRI. I hope for the best.
Sherry, Kim is so right that we couldn’t care less if you give us a smile. We like to hear what is going on with you and support you. The smiles are just icing on the cake and this cake needs none. (((Hugs)))
Joyce, I’m so glad Norma is doing better. And glad you can rest a bit easier.
Katla, so glad your DH is feeling better. I hope for continued improvement each day.
Betsy, a huge congrats on a day with no issues. I hope you have enjoyed it.
Pip, we know you are going to get your exercise no matter what the trains do. You go girl.
Heather, thanks for the Bea fix. Too bad she’s not a happy child and never smiles. LOL What an absolute doll!!!
Went to get nails done this morning and found out that my nail tech has sold the salon. I just thought she was on vacation. The lady that did them did a good job so may just start using her. Other than that it’s been a pretty lazy day, I hate to report. Left over chili tonight, which is normally better the second time around.

Lenora, love the jokes.
Katla, you asked about the robot vacuums. years ago we had a Roomba. This was when they were affordable. It did real good. The boundaries you set up in the room worked real well and it never took it self down the stairs. It recognized the stairs and turned itself around. It didn't pick up real big stuff, even if you put it right in front of it. Of course if you could do that you could just pick it up and take it to the trash can yourself. I like the new ones now but now the expense.
Sister is in a regular room now. She was able to walk with help to the bathroom, so her revised knee is working but she has gone backwards in her therapy. As far as confusion, I thought she was OK but she was talking to one of the brothers and said neither of her kids had called. But befoe brother called she said her son had called and would be up tomorrow.

Just popping in to say that Olivia is getting dialysis and she is responding the way they had hoped she would. Thank you all for the positive energy and prayers you have been sending. She isn't out of the woods but we have every reason to think she will recover fully.

Well here I go marathon reading as I am WAY behind but 3 day weekend so ONWARD!
Lisa – so sorry about your husband’s wrist and the financial strain this will most likely put on you. (((Major Huge Hugs)))
RE – You are a Saint and I hope your husband worships the ground you walk on!
Beth – prayers for your husband. I know how hard it is to be far from your parents. If I ever move into a 2 story again I will put in one of those stair chairs that takes you up and down the stairs.
Barbie - Ah Sasha and Beth are quite the runway models!
DJ – love you back!
Sharon – is your ex in a 12 step program? (I just saw that someone else also had this question). One of the steps is making amends to those you have hurt in the past. I understand your son’s reluctance. My bio-mother left the 4 of us kids when I was 5 and the youngest was not even a year old. I did not see or hear from her until I was 25 by which time I thought she must be dead. Unfortunately although we had a civil relationship I just could never love her like a mom. My Mom was my step-mom who raised me from the age of 9.
Sarah – we all got our flu shots as well but my poor 9yr old ended up with the flu last week. It started with his eye bothering him on Sunday and progressed to a fever that night. Took him to doctor the next day who diagnosed flu. I asked how he could have it since he had his flu shot and was told that the flu shot is only 50-60% effective. Poor kid his temp got up to 104 on meds so called the doctor who had me triple the amount of ibuprophen and Tylenol he had been on. Next day up to 103.2 again. Then he started getting better. When the doctor said he would be out of school for 3 days Zac burst out in tears because he had his Valentines ready to take to school way ahead of time. I took them to the school for him so when he got back to school on Friday he had a bucket of Valentines waiting for him.
Peggy – you are smart starting out with only 2 goals. Sometimes making too many goals at once is an unconscious way of sabotaging ourselves.
Carey – your poem reminded me of Irish Teri who used to post on here. She writes lovely poetry. And I miss being a cog in her wheel.
Joyce – was that guy saying that because his company doesn’t install leaf guards?
Allie – he’s right. Without counseling nothing will change. Been there done that. My ex walked out of the first counseling appointment. From there on the hand writing was on the wall. I went back one time after having moved out with my kids and getting on with my life. I knew the first night it was a mistake. The next time I left was for good.
Stopping for a while to go make dinner for the boys but will be back later!
Love you all – and is there anyone here who wouldn’t give one of US a hug if we got together?
Gloria in WA where it's going to rain the next 5 days! woohoo - NOT!
