Tried these the other day. I thought that they were pretty yummy! They weren't gritty like how some other gluten free cookies can be. Really, I thought that they tasted like normal peanut butter oatmeal cookies with chocolate chunks in them. Bonus: they have an ingredient list that's pretty clean compared to most of the other Girl Scout Cookies!
I wanted these sooooooooooooo bad last year but no one had them (we have many girl scout connections at work) and amazon/ebay were way too expensive.0 -
Tried the Girl Scout S'mores cookies finally. Ugh. Too much sweet; not enough chocolate or graham cracker to balance it.
OTOH, I finally figured out the Halo Top Birthday Cake is much better with some Ovaltine added to it; that makes it taste like a chocolate cake instead just a frosted vanilla cake.
Which s'mores cookie?
Yeah, the sandwich cookie or the chocolate covered cookie cookie?
Also, I used to mix chocolate nestle's quik in with vanilla ice cream....heaven. I've never had ovaltine.
I might give Halo Top's red velvet another chance knowing this or try it with their strawberry flavor!
How much do you use? Does it dissolve?
LOL who knows? These were my pre-calorie counting and pre-weighing days. I just had a big bowl of ice cream and shoveled that nestles quik on u til it looked chocolately enough. If I remember correctly, it mostly dissolved (god the oce cream was soooooooo creamy this way) but there were still grains of the quik left that gave it a bit of texture (?).
If I ever eat the halo top from a bowl, I might try that with the quest chocolate milkshake protein powder.
Let me know how that goes but I can't imagine Quest protein powder mixing too well since it gets a bit gooey or sticky when mixed with certain things it doesn't really dissolve! It could make a protein glaze but I don't know about it as an ice cream topping, maybe powdered peanut butter but not protein powder but hey you never know until you try!!!
If I ever do it. I tend to eat the Halo Top out of the container whist doing a Leslie Sansone walking dvd.
And not usually log it.
I should really stop that.5 -
I'm loving the new pint of Enlightened Banana Foster ice cream...mmmm.4 -

Woah. Believe it or not, I have never had chocolate malt powder a day in my life up until a few days ago when I caved and bought a small tub of Ovaltine from Walmart! I wasn't impressed as it just tastes like chocolate milk but mixing it in ice cream is a total game changer! How do you add it? Like, as a topping or do you somehow stir it or blend it? Have you tried it in other flavors yet?
I let the Halo Top soften a bit then stir in the Ovaltine.
As for the s'mores cookies: I got the plain sandwich version. Would rather make my own.2 -

WHAT? I won all of their pints and they're going to be delivered and I still haven't tried it!!! Dang it Shoprite! You should've uploaded a picture of inside your pint I want to see how much bang for my buck I'm going to get!!2 -
I have found ThinkThin protein bars 20g of protein, 0g of suger, low GI gluten free. I have tried the quest bars and can not get pass the nasty taste.....
ThinkThin creamy peanut butter chocolate dipped is like eating a candy bar. It's so much better than questbars!! Hands down!! I had one for lunch today and it was 240 calories!! It's a must try if you are like me and struggle with protein bars. I think they are like $1.50 each.

Where did you find them? I've tried the 150 calorie ThinkThin bars but thought they tasted horrible, perhaps the 240 calorie version has a different formula?
Speaking of protein bars I randomly found a box of expired quest pumpkin pie bars from a couple years ago xD like chewing a rock but tasted satisfying x3

Shop Rite still only has 5 flavors on the shelves here, and they don't even have the oatmeal caramel cookie one anymore. I'm sad.1 -

I NOTICED THAT TOO WHAT GIVES THAT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. They should've discontinued the salted caramel or peanut butter one instead, the salted caramel tastes kind of weird and the peanut butter one really isn't that sweet and hardly tastes like peanut butter in my opinion -.-0 -
WHY, OH WHY, did I have to try these?!?!?!?!?!
A little too sweet for my taste, but so damn good.
Dangerous.
NSV: I only had one.

fitmom4lifemfp wrote: »Noodles & Company released two new dishes and I couldn't resist the Pork Adobo. Has a little heat and a lot of flavor I love it! However, $7.83 for a small is a little pricey so it's not something I'll get regularly but it was very filling and satisfying! Not at all aesthetically appealing like the picture though haha!
I love Noodles and Company. If we have to eat out, that is a favorite. The Korean meatballs are out of this world. And the Chicken Noodle soup is some of the best I have ever had.
I don't know about that soup thing. I've never had it, but I can't imagine any chicken noodle soup topping Bob Evans!
Also finally tried the One Touch latte creamer! I got the caramel and I LOVE IT. Not quite what I was expecting; I somehow expected it to be more of a powder that reacts with the liquid kind of like the 2-step Gevalia frothing k-cups, but this was kind of like flavored whipped cream. Honestly I bet if you did find a flavored whipped cream and stirred it the result would be the same. Still, it's a fun idea and had a nice caramel flavor while not tasting too fake! Definitely wasn't froth though, it was cream. If you want froth, either get a steaming pitcher or Gevalia!
Also found a review for the Oreo Easter Eggs that were released!

And lastly, this. This is all I want right now.
Scratch that. I just went to Junk Banter's instagram and now I want a lot more.
They already got Enlightened's new flavor. They rated Halo Top's red velvet better as better than Enlightened's version (said HT was sweeter, which I thought HT's red velvet wasn't sweet at all especially compared to their salted caramel) but the pictures of Enlightened makes it look delicious so I'm still optimistic! They said the red velvet Halo Top was their favorite HT. It was my least favorite, but I love red velvet normally so this makes me really interested now in how much these reviews will apply to me.
The birthday cake got rated better than Halo Top.
The cinnabon muffin things must be microwaved apparently, and that thing from Starbucks is a cookie butter bar that got a 9/10. *exhales* alright now I'm done, I promise. For now.
The Starbucks bar & Edy's ice cream look amazing!
I might write to Enlightened & let them know that they should bring their pints to more places in Pennsylvania.2 -
Really liked this bar! I plan on buying this one again once I run out of bars.
I must've gotten a bad batch of Combat Crunch Birthday Cake, because the bars are as hard as a rock.
This has to be almost at the top of my list of worst protein bars I have ever had the displeasure of eating! All it tasted like was a bar full of uncooked dough. Disgusting.0 -
I bought a new brand of almond butter. It had a higher rating than Justin's (on Amazon) so we shall see.

Ugh, I just saw a review for the new peeps oreos and apparently the filling tastes less like peeps and more like birthday cake frosting. So now I have to freakin' buy them!2

Great thanks for posting that ! Now I'll have to buy a package too since it's supposed to taste like frosting .1 -
Thought this looked delish, but it was DISGUSTING. I can't even put my finger on what made it taste so bad, but it just tasted awful. I actually gagged while trying to eat it.
I've found the SmartMade meals to be just alright, but this one was delicious!! The sweet potatoes were sweet and yummy, the green beans were nice and crisp, and the turkey honestly tasted homemade. Definitely buying this one again.5 -
Sahale Maple Pecans!!! Freaking amazing!!1

(Little secret: Aldi's Simply Nature brand almond butter is just as good, with similar ingridients for almost 1/2 the price!)

So I made the Lemon Blueberry ones for breakfast this morning. The lemon flavor is very subtle and if I didn't know what flavor it was suppose to be I probably wouldn't know it was there.
You could probably just add a little bit of fresh lemon zest for minimal calories to get the extra lemon flavor.3 -

I didn't care for Aldi's almond butter after having had Trader Joe's. The texture admittedly wasn't the same, but I thought the taste was superior.
I guess I just don't like almond butter with the added oil. I know it's drippy, but.. I'll stick with it.0 -

Perfect amount of salt, too.
I did a taste testing of a number of almond butters last year, and that one was definitely my favorite.0 -

Tried their cinnamon powder and was so impressed I splurged on samples of the fruity pebbles. Again, tastes just like the cereal I can't believe this brand isn't more popular! 5/5 although my personal preference is the cinnamon since I can slightly taste an aftertaste of what I think is food coloring with the fruity flavor, but I'm very impressed regardless!
P.S. I found one last pint of the caramel oatmeal Enlightened ice cream at Shoprite today (went to a different location) and also noticed more Halo Top flavors so I could give the Red Velvet one more chance with some ovaltine!2 -
I'm sure this was a last fall "Limited Edition", but I just picked it up last week. I don't love the texture/filling-ness of the whips, but this flavor was phenomenal! Very citrusy with just a tang of sweet cranberry. Wish it would stick around- and in regular texture

Tempted to order samples of these now! I'm skeptical about protein powders because they usual taste chemically....do these have a fake taste to them?0 -
@hgycta is there a coupon code you use? With shipping the total comes to $14.97 for 3 each of the 2 flavors! That's expensive!0
