What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My mini goals: 1st to hit 135. It's 25% of the way to my goal weight. I'd like to fit into size 8 pants and run 1 straight mile w/o stopping.5

mini goal: break into the 170s for the first time in 15 years. I've been bouncing around in the 180s since last summer (going up into the 190s over the holidays) but I'm at 180 now Hoping to be solidly in the 170s at next weigh-in8

I have milestone clothing that I've either never fit in or haven't fit in in a while. Each one is it's own mini-goal. Then breaking the 200 barrier. I don't think I've been less than 200 lbs. as an adult.10

I passed the first 10lb mini goal. Now on to the next 10lb mini goal - only 8.8 more to go! It's funny, I actually feel like I'm starting over a little haha. After the first mini goal, I rewarded myself with sunglasses. After the next mini goal - I think new workout tights!
Cheers everyone, love reading these, especially the updates of people breaking their goals!!11 -

Great job!!2 -
Just 3 pounds to go to get below 150.12
-
Next goals:
196.7 - 30% of my body weight lost!
191 - 90lbs lost!
179 - move out of the obese category and into overweight!!!
Non-weight related:
Finish my 30 day plank challenge with my friend (we only have 4 days left)
Start wall sit challenge with same friend
Keep doing my strength training exercises!
Update!!!
Made it to 195.6 this morning. That's 30.4% of my body weight lost!!! 85 lbs down!
191 is right around the corner!
Finished my plank challenge.
Started a new challenge. We decided to not to walk sits but do squats and abs.
And I've continued on with my other strength training! Even though I've started dating and juggling that with trying to eat healthy and still workout can be rough. (Eventuall I would feel comfortable asking them to do some of these things with me but just not there yet)
I love reading everyone's goals! Keep up the hard work!
Okay... over the past few days I've been really rethinking and re-evaluating what I think my goals should be. I want to focus less on numerical goals. I mean 191 is still doable so that can stay and so can 180. However, longer term I think I need to rethink my UGW. Originally I thought 150 but I don't think I want to have an UGW at all.
I think I want a size goal and a body comfort goal. Something over the past few days I've thought about is that even in high school I was a size 8 and 175... which I now realize is actually pretty small for 175. I have a friend who is 150 and a size 9 and a friend who is 140 and a size 8.... And right now at 195ish I can wear a 12... I think I would be happy with a size 8 again.
PLUS I want to feel comfortable in my body. That's the most important thing to me. I don't want to aim for a numerical goal that in the long run is going to be hard for me to maintain nor do I want to jeopardize my muscle mass by aiming for a low number. SO what I'm thinking is I would rather focus on Body fat % right now I'm somewhere around 27% body fat. I'd like to get to between 20-23% and see how I feel there...
So to achieve this longer term goal... I will continue doing my strength training and walking/biking/etc. and eat at a smaller deficit to preserve muscle. and at some point I will probably shift to recomp and eat at maintenance.14 -
Break out of this $&"$ plateau - get consistently below 187!6

Losing 20lbs by my daughter's second birthday (7/1). I've used the "I just had a baby" excuse since she was born and finally just decided I've had enough.11

Hitting the 20kg lost - am currently on 19.9!11

Getting to 120. Almooossttt there.Getting to 120. Almooossttt there.
I get it!!!! I'm 5'2" and got to 138. That is slit if Wright on a small frame. Busting out of a size 8 and I just could not bring myself to buy a size 10/12. I'm 4.5 lbs away from my 120 goal.2 -

Longer term: My fam and I will travel to Italy for our dream trip (3 years of saving, 1 of planning). I want to be at a total weight loss of 20 lbs by then. I have 8 weeks and 7.5 lbs to go and my scale is not the best at moving!
Short term goal is OBLITERATED thanks to a *swoosh*. I am at a BMI today of 29.4!!!
Next mini goal is to get to weight of hubs and I's first date (4 lbs) and simultaneously hit the 20 lb. mark
That's awesome! Congratulations!!
Getting to overweight instead of obese is my first goal too. I'm soooo close to being there. As of this morning, my BMI is 30.0! Just a few more pounds5 -
Only 8 lbs to reach goal!7
-
I dipped below 15 and half stone (217) yesterday and back above it today (217.4) so under there, then all the 5s and 0s are mini goals to then 215 and then 10% loss is 214.2 and then on to 210 for 15 stone. I've a feeling there's something else in there too but can't remember what it is! I like breaking it up in to tiny milestones.7

I believe this is important and don't believe that re-evaluating goals is a cop out or shows indecision. I think we figure things out as we learn and hey, we certainly know what DOESN'T work. Best of luck to you!3 -
Break out of this $&"$ plateau - get consistently below 187!
Ugh. I've been flirting with that number myself for about a month. Got down to 182.8 last Saturday, but my weight has been up all week most likely due to sodium, restarting my workout plan, etc.
I'm just ready to say goodbye to the 180s.4 -

Well. Two days under 258 now. Was 257.3 this morning.
It's a big deal as it moves me from Obese class II to class I (BMI under 35) and was my current mini-goal.
Next goal is 247.5 (25% weight loss). Should hit it by the end of March (5 weeks @ 2 lb / week).17 -

Currently I weigh 70kg, and I am dying to see the number 6 again, because last time was around 7 years ago.5

To set up a pedometer I've had lurking in a drawer for ages. Who designed this thing? I have an IT degree, how hard can it be, for goodness sake? Instructions written in Klingon, I think13

Reached original three goals but new goals are proving to be a little more elusive.
Original goals:
1. Get below 200 - Achieved 2/11/17
2. Get out of obese range and into overweight: 2/4/17
3. Recover from a knee injury and start running again. - Achieved 2/18/17!
New goals:
1. First 10 lbs. - hovering around -7.4. Planning on a new swimsuit and goggles with I reach that goal.
2. Consistently running 3X week - got in 3 short runs this week so on track with that.9 -

Snacks?
And I'm back over 258 this morning. Lots of sodium yesterday, so not a surprise but still not happy about it.
Oh well, this too shall pass (the pepperoni pizza that is).6 -
Getting to 179
That will put me into the 170s and will mean that I've lost 20% of my starting weight7 -
Getting to 25kg lost. I have 5.1kg to lose in order to reach this mini-goal. I decided that I'm going to Paris once this happens, so fingers crossed!8

Mine is to be healthy enough to play with my 2 year old.12
