24 Hours of Exercise per Month Challenge - April 2017

Here's the 24 hour challenge thread for April (no fooling). Let's do it again!! And welcome to any newcomers!

The goal is to accomplish at least 24 hours of exercise during the month of April. Any type of activity that you would log in your exercise diary counts (both cardio and strength training) ~ walking, running, paddling, biking, swimming, gardening, weight training, dancing, HIIT, aerobics, elliptical, rowing, circuit training, stretching, etc. You get the idea.

For you hosses and hossettes out there (you know who you are), if you want to do more, just post your personal goal that is over the baseline challenge goal.

And for anyone who wants to join part of the way through, just post a comparable goal to finish out the month (for example, joining half way through, post a goal of 12 hours).

There is no group for this and no private messages needed. No fancy spreadsheets either, just report your running totals here in the thread.

    My goal is 36 hours again this month.

    Will be a bit more challenging with no Amazing Race this month and I've got a few races, which means my weekend paddles, while more intense, will be shorter than normal.

    2 April: 75 min - SUP (3.03 miles); 30 min - loading/unloading equipment = 105 minutes

    Total: 105 minutes out of 2160 minutes (1:45 / 36 hours)

    I'm in again this month. Haven't totaled up last month yet, but I'll post the comparative as soon as I have. :smile:

    April 24hours:
    01.04 30 minutes (jogging stairs; 80 floors)
    02.04 61 minutes (walking; to the museum and back)

    Total: 91 minutes
    Goal: 1440 minutes

    Hello, I'm a newby to this. Good start with 30 mins jogging and an hour scrubbing the outside of our boat yesterday.

    So 22.5 hours to go :smile:

    I'm a newbie to this challenge, but I love <3 challenges with specific and attainable goals!

    I also like odd numbers, so for April my goal will be 27 hours. If I exceed that number I will set a higher goal for May.

    Yay, I'm back and going to try this again. Only about 22 hours last month.
    70 minutes of Lee Labrada Legs and Abs Apr 1st
    77 minutes of Von Moger back and HIIT cardio Apr 3rd
    64 minutes of Von Moger chest Apr 4th

    3.51 hours so far. Get It!
  • Okay I am in for this I'm going to shoot for 20 hours since I'm joining a little late. Looking forward to getting back on track with where I need to be with exercising. :smiley:
