What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My mini goal is to gain 5-10 pounds for my menstrual cycle to become regular again. Even though I have a healthy BMI, it's clearly not high enough for my body yet19

March 1st I decided to change my lifestyle and really lose the weight once and for all. I started out at 214 and got down to 196 before I got depressed, lost motivation, and started slipping. Then, my mother passed away.
From June until October 23rd I gained back all but 3 of those pounds I lost started at 211 this time. I am down to 200.6 now and want to get down to 196 or below by the new year. It will put me back where I was finally and feel more like a true starting point.
I was 195.6 as of 12/25. I think there will only be a small loss on 1/1 or I will just end up maintaining, but still I made my goal. I am under 196!
Next mini goal is to get out of the 190s! Hopefully by the end of January.
189.4 as of this morning 1/14!
My next mini goal is to lose 10 lbs so I can get out of the 180s and no longer be obese just overweight.
Let's try for the first week in March? Will update when I reach it.
February and March were rough months for me. I recorded my first ever gain from week to week in January and by February my mind was just in a bad place.
I had been eating at a deficit for over three months at that point and the weight just wasn't moving the way it once did.
I got overwhelmed, I got complacent, and I just stopped tracking and going to the gym. I didn't really gain any weight (thank goodness) besides some water weight, but I didn't lose any weight either.
Two weeks ago I decided after weeks of saying I was going to get back on the horse to actually get back on the horse.
Finally reached 179.8 lbs today which means I am no longer obese. It didn't even hit me until I was out today clothes shopping that I have finally done it. I'm no longer obese.
Just wanted to update to encourage people who sometimes have a hard time. You'll get there even if it takes longer than you'll think. You'll get there.
So next mini goal. . .under 170. I'll update when I make it.19 -

It's taken 10 wks to lose 5 lbs. I'm now a little less than 5 away from my goal of 125! I can barely believe it! (All these exclamation points!!!)
Almost as soon as I posted this, I bounced back up to 133ish. Argh. Today, I am 129.2.
Next mini goals:
-- No more bouncing back up!
-- 127
Woot! 127.4 today! 2.4 lbs to go to my goal weight.
Seriously, I could cry. I NEVER thought I'd be able to get here ... How awesomely ridiculous is it that my New Year's Resolution is to lose 2.4 lbs!?
I DID IT: 125.0 lbs today!
This is both my mini-goal and my overall weight loss goal. Over 100 lbs gone!
Did the happy dance for a few seconds and am now setting a new goal: 120. I'm barely 5'1" and could lose some more, so I'll keep going.
119.8 today! Unbelievable!
Next up: 115
114.8 today!
My next mini goal: 110
I'd be thrilled if I could do this during the month of May. It seemed to take a long time to lose 5 lbs, but somewhat recently I've been well enough to add in some cardio and weight lifting, and I hope that can speed things up. I still can't do much with my legs, but even some upper-body exercise seems to make a positive difference.
(I wrote this update this morning and got a message that it would be posted after being approved. I'm not sure what I might have included in the message that would flag it, and it's possible after it's approved I show up twice -- my apologies if so. But, in case I stay in limbo, here I am. )7 -
right so the second half of this week I finally got my head back in the game and stopped nibbling on cookies! I've been eating healthily otherwise but all of those bites add up. So my mini goals are as follows
- stick to eating well for a week
- hopefully lose 2lbs
- perform a helicopter on my own (when you swing all your weight upside-down on just the silks. I'm strong enough but not brave enough to actually manage it)5 -
I finally weighed in UNDER my driver's license weight! Next up - 4 lbs until a healthy BMI!12
-
Hoping to reach 50 lbs lost by my birthday May 5th. I'm currently down 46.8lbs so 3.2lbs away. Not a big deal if I'm not exactly there but it would be great.11

On 8th May (2 weeks today!) I go on holidays with my partner, his brothers and parents) to the Canaries.
I'm 3lbs away from this mini-goal, which may not be achieved - the scales hasn't moved in several weeks annoying, but I'm definitely healthier (and smaller!) than i was in January!9 -

apart from wanting to feel less sluggish, we have a yearly health check where I work and last time I was so proud as I had lost 9 kg a few months before. No I have put 7 kg back on and don't want to hear the doctor's comments. Trying to get rid of as much weight as I can before the check - 4 weeks to go. ;-)8

That would put me at 79.9kg. Don't think I was ever that light as an adult. Still 8kg off healthy BMI, but considering I started at 115kg... I'd say not bad.
Bike the 7km to the nearest grocery store and back (bike's ordered... can't wait to get it!)
Still working on it. Still at the same bloody weight as when I posted this over a month ago...
Bike was a bad fit. So returned and new one ordered. *rollseyes*
Okay... only 3.7kg left to reach that mini goal!!!! Finally starting to lose again
Also... my never ending bike story...
New bike arrived... Got dropped during the pre-delivery final assembly (they do a one over check and do any further customization requested...). Turns out there was a manufacturing flaw on the gear cause the stupid thing broke.
So... replacement was ordered. I'm praying to whatever deity might exist that 3rd time's going to be the charm

Mine is to get under 200lbs. Haven't seen under 200 in at least 5 years. Started in January at 216 now stuck at 206. So close.8

My mini goal is to get to my drivers license weight. SO 248 CW 234 DLW 225 GW 1757

My new mini goal is to drop 15lbs by June 15th. I am currently in the USA (I live in Europe) and I am dating a guy who I won't have seen for 3 months, so would love to look a little lighter by the time I next see him.10

1/2 lb to go!!!!! This could be the hardest part of the battle...or it might be maintenance is the hardest part (?)12

My mini goal right now is to get back to the 170s. This time last year, I just gave up. I'd been counting calories and exercising often for almost 9 months, and it was getting overwhelming. I was happy with my progress, but I was burnt out. Luckily, I'm still under my original start weight. That sure helped get me motivated again.
After 170s, I'm setting smaller goals in 10lb increments. I think this will help a lot.10 -
After a rough few weeks and not following plan, I'm back on track. I'd like to get to an aggressive goal of 199.9 by June 1 ... lofty. Let's see what I can pull out with focus in 5 weeks. I'll take 205 with an aim for 195 for the 4th!6

Been overweight since puberty hit, went downhill from their really, always joking that the only diet I was on was the see food diet lol but not anymore, healthy lifestyle from now on, I would just like to feel more healthier, happier and have more energy so my mini goal would be to be able to have more energy9

JGilchrist23 wrote: »I need to get to 67.5kg to be classed as a normal BMI and I have bounced between 67.6kg and 70kg since CHRISTMAS!!! I am great during the week and I ruin it all at the weekend. As of today, I was at 68.6kg and my mini goal is to get through a baby shower on Sat and a lunchtime picnic on Sun and see 68.2kg at the most on the scale on Mon. That'll then set me up to see 67 something next week. Fingers crossed!
I saw 67.6kg on Mon and 67.5kg today - healthy BMI - yes!!! Now, I just need to consolidate that this week and start moving to a new goal of 66kg by the 21st May. I go home that day for a week and I haven't seen my family since Xmas so I want to be rocking 66kg!!10 -
Losing 15 lbs by the end of May. I'm down 6 lbs since last Wednesday, which is when I started tracking and doing some better with my eating! 9 lbs to go!7

Saying goodbye to the last of the flapdoodle and hello to the six pack. It is getting closer and closer. I am also only 8 pounds away from a grand total of 150 pounds lost. That still sounds crazy.21

I have a couple:
1. Weight wise I set my goal for only 10 lbs at a time and I am soooo close to hitting the 180's, only a couple more pounds to go!
2. Measurement wise I have an entire box of Silver brand jeans in a size smaller than I currently am and I desperately want to wear them.
3. Fitness wise I want to beat my 38 min 5k time next month.
All totally doable in the near future!12 -

I tried out the stair climber for the first time the other day. I just wanted to see what it was like (it always intimidated me a bit) and I had just finished a heavy upper body workout so I only did 25 floors, but really enjoyed the workout.
Second time I tried it I had done 100 squats, so I was a little tired. I completed 60 floors. Not easy but not incredibly hard. I'm pretty sure I sweated more than running my first 5k a few weeks back.
My mini goal is to hit 100 floors climbed. I'm going to try for it tonight after work.16 -
I love reading everyone's goals! My mini-goal right now is to lose the 6lbs(!) (so close and yet so far!!! ) I need to take me out of the BMI obese category and into the overweight category.
(And yeah, I know BMI isn't always the best measure but this will be an important milestone for me nonetheless)13 -
My mini goal is to reach 199 lbs... for a 21 lb loss... and into onederland... only 5 lbs to go!11
-
I comfortably wore my prepregnancy pants to work yesterday.
Next mini goal is to get to 154 by my baby's half birthday which is the 29th of may. Which would it my remaining loss goals into the teens! That gives me nine pounds to lose in 5 weeks and I've been losing two lbs a week so it's doable as long as I stay on track.9 -
I completed my mini goal of 100 floors on the stair climber. It was a bit more difficult than I had expected and if I had not posted it as a mini goal I might have given up after 75 floors.
So to extend this mini goal, I want to do 100 floors 3 more times in the next 5 days. After that I'll see about higher numbers.

My April goal was to lose 20 by our 2-week Italian dream family vacation (did that) and offset my vacation food opportunities with lots of walking. I gained 1 lb. during the trip and it's gone! So, new mini goals:
- get back to jogging 2x a week and hitting 10k steps 6 days a week through April
- Eating at a deficit 5x a week
- Lose 5 lbs. by Memorial Day (the weekend I have psyched myself up to buy a new swimsuit ... one that I LIKE....one that fits...one that doesn't hide everything but my kneecaps).
If and when I hit this goal, it will be my first time weighing this amount since I graduated high school. I'm 44!15 -
To run up the hill by my house without having to take a break! I got lapped today by another jogger and it made the competitor in me furious10
-
My current mini goal is getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 230. Only 12 lbs to go!9
