I logged for 50 days in a row! It's been a long time since I've been able to keep up a streak like that without gaps.26

I just ate a lovely slice of lemon cake. It's ok I logged it and I have the calories to spend on it. The nsv is that I genuinely don't feel like a failure for having a piece of cake. It's the joy of cico sometimes you can have cake28

This is absolutely un-weight related.
For some reason, my mental clarity has returned. I had it when I was overweight and for the last few months it seems my concentration level and my focus have faltered.
It's back - not sure why or how, but it's back!
I can concentrate. I read 2 books over the last 5 days (which is normal for me, but I probably only read 2 in all of March and April).
I love reading and it feels good to get back at it!32 -
This morning, I had someone at the gym I see every day say "We missed you Monday. " It was a reminder that even when you don't think someone is noticing, they are.36

^ this! so much this!
every day this surprises me, even if I don't have/want the cake. Just knowing it is an option and I won't get guilt is marvellous!8 -
I'm wearing my shirt tucked in today. Something I never thought I could do.21

Me too!9 -
I'm wearing a size small shirt today. In public. And it fits nice. Never in my life did I ever think I'd wear a size small. I know vanity sizing has a part to play in it, but still. A size small20

Nude sunbathing. By myself but still.27

This makes me feel so good to hear! I feel sometimes like all my deficit calories are coming straight from my brain. It's good to have hope this is only a temporary condition.10 -
This for me, I have been here and lost and regained. I am slowly working my physical activity back to something like what it used to be. I am paying more attention to what I am doing and working to form and maintain new habits so it sticks this time.9

@crosbylee That's amazing! Someone wrote here before that their NSV is 'I'm still here.' . Time will pass anyways, just keep going, if you fail, get back and do it again9

^^ So true!
My truly great NSV, I'm very very pleased We went to Paris over the long weekend! It was wonderful! So much to see and do, and sooooooo much walking...my FitBit says 41+ miles over four days!!!
Even better, though! Stairs are my arch nemesis. I am pretty fit and can do most anything I try, but it doesn't take many flights of stairs to wipe me out. But the excitement of the weekend, the romanticism of place, being with my husband...taking the 704 stairs up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower went smoothly and quickly!! I was a little out of breath (and the view took away what was left) but I did something that I didn't think I could. I'm really proud of myself and this is an NSV for the books!!!

After seeing cookies that someone brought in today had 270 calories each, they no longer appealed to me and I could easily pass them up. Just so you know, chocolate chip cookies are one of my most favoritest desserts and Whole Foods has some of the best.15

My belt is just a little loser today. Actually a whole loop loser.

Just catching up on these... congrats, everyone! Lots of awesome NSVs!SiegfriedXXL wrote: »So this morning was unseasonably cloudy and cold and my current pullover sweatshirt was dirty. My partner, now husband actually, who always seems to be the source of these NSV's suggested I wear a flannel my father had given HIM when HE was cold and needed it. The flannel, a 2XL, is ludicrously large on my husband, but still way too small for me, or so I thought. I tried it on, (one must humor one's spouse after all), and wouldn't you know, it didn't look ridiculous. I couldn't button it all the way but the arms fit and it draped nicely over my clothes. Now it's my next goal to get that sucker buttoned.
Siegfried!!! You snuck that in there pretty quietly... Congratulations!
Thank you, SueSueDio. I'm still kind of dazed by it all. I never thought I'd be married but there it is. Now to lose the rest of this weight so we have a long life together.25 -

I think we need a wedding photo... :flowerforyou:
I do believe that there's someone out there for everyone - it just takes a while to find them sometimes. I'm so happy for you! I know you've mentioned before that your partner husband wasn't into larger people, so I think this just shows how much you've impressed him with your hard work and commitment, and he obviously feels that you're going to maintain this new healthier lifestyle into the future.10 -
Three guys were standing together at the gym -- cute, my age. AND THEY WERE CHECKING ME OUT!
ME?!
Then, I got scared and pretended I wasn't there. Argh. Baby steps, I guess ...18 -

Today I walked 7.4 miles, "ran" 2.31 miles and cycled 35.79 miles.
My totals for the month of May are:- Walking - 200.11 miles
- Cycling - 700.49 miles
- C25K - 8.57 miles
- Steps taken - 550,760
Notes:- Walking - target achieved
- Cycling - target was 775 miles but this isn't a bad total considering that I didn't get out on the bike at all on five days (which would have added 125 miles to the total)
- C25K - this is the total of only the last four workouts where it's been more plodding than walking
- Steps - these are according to my tracker which is wildly inaccurate as it often counts steps whilst I'm cycling and misses steps taken when pushing a buggy
I have no idea how I found time to eat and sleep . . .23 -
Finally could zip up a UK 10 dress again today that only fit me for a few months in 2012. It's been my motivation dress for weeks now and next goal is for it to feel a bit loose.27

Haha, I'll post one when we get them back.
Yeah, it's been crazy. He's been very supportive of my health goals and given both tough love and sympathy when I needed it. Weigh loss is a tough endeavor and he's made it a bit easier. I'm grateful for that in addition to all else that he is.26 -

I sort of miss my double chin!! No, seriously!! I was always so self conscious of it that it became second nature to reach up and mess with it, etc. Now I reach up and there's not much left of it! Don't worry, I don't miss it for to long before I remember why it's gone and I do a little happy dance on the inside!21

I had to buy new clothes this week because everything looked baggy and daggy. Nothing like a decent fitting bra to put ya boobs back where they belong. I'm half way to where I want to be but I feel like a supermodel rocking new clothes and feeling proud of myself.36

I lost about a 1 size in Shoes!20

It is really amazing how much a good bra helps out I got a new size recently and I think it made a huge difference in the mirror.
My NSV- inspired one of my co-workers to start walking with me a lunch everyday! She has stuck with it for the last week. I never thought I would inspire others, especially as I am still a work in progress. Keep that in mind, just like in the gym like @Ghostofachance said, people do notice your hard work!12
