This week’s success: I have dropped a size in jeans!! I went shopping and was surprised to find I actually fit into the next size down. Woo hoo!!
This week's challenge: I didn’t get the job, which has led to a week-end of indulgence again. The scales have gone up by a small amount (almost 1/2 pound) which has made me feel even more defeated. But here’s hoping the effort I put in this week on eating right and working out will have some results on the scale.

Not too challenging a week. We may have finally started the rainy season here in Florida, so I am going to have to reschedule my outdoor exercise activities or come to love wet shoes.
Yesterday I was at 200.0 pounds. I knew I would fluctuate from that, but I was hoping for a number starting with one today. Just wait ‘til next week!

This Week's life challenges
My big challenge this week is to survive another weekend and check in with a lower or stable weight on Monday. We head over to Daytona Beach for Fri& Sat nights and there will be good food, some beer, some rum, free hotel happy hour and lots of sun/heat. All of which will contribute to me swelling up like a puffer fish pulled from the water. I shall however walk my hiney off both days – providing it is not lightning. Alas, there is no exercise room.
In addition, this is the start of my work’s summer season. We go to a four-day workweek, which is nice. The tradeoff is we work 10 hours days. This makes it more challenging to eat well and to get my exercise. Therefore challenges this week:- Pre-log meals. Stay under calories, including exercise calories, for the week.

This week's successes: The last two weeks my loss rate has been higher than usual. I think my body appreciated having a vacation. Completed the second week of the strengthening program and really enjoyed it. I think this may be something I can stick with."
