Weekly Goal: Continue getting up early to workout before work. Continue trying some new workouts to find a new program.
This Week's Successes: 30lbs DOWN! That feels really real. I got back into the swing of things after a couple weeks of half assing it. Still on track to hit the 52lbs/52 weeks which feels nice. Lots of people are noticing that I've lost weight, which is nice, but sometimes awkward.
This Week's Challenges: Had a little tummy bug on thursday and did not get to workout. Looking forward to getting out this weekend and kicking butt in a steps challenge.

This week's success: The scales finally went down!!! I read a great MFP blog post about plateaus too which has helped me see the big picture (it's here if anyone wants to read it: blog.myfitnesspal.com/the-upside-of-a-weight-loss-plateau/)
This week's challenge: I started working out at a gym. I did my first workout this week (cardio circuit) and it was brutal. The aim this week is to do the same circuit on Tuesday and Thursday.

I somehow pulled a muscle in my leg early this last week and could put no pressure on it for a couple of days. DH even had to help with getting me in and out of bed where I spent 2 whole days a large portion of the next 3 days. Today I'm moving much better but slowly.
This week's challenges: Not gaining weight while I healed. DH doesn't cook so meals for a couple of days consisted of sandwiches and instant oatmeal. Definitely an incentive to heal faster. Will need to be careful when I return to the gym in a couple of days as I don't want to reinjure my leg.
This week's successes: I did manage to lose a little this week. I'm finally in the healthy/normal BMI range! This is the lowest weight I have been in decades. Logging everything and knowing that I will be posting my loss/gain on this challenge has made this weight loss journey a success for me.2 -

So I was at 184.4 before I left and now im up to 188 (190 yesterday) so I just have to push to get back down to where i was before vacation. Im going to chicago in 39 days, and my goal is 175 by then2 -

Weekly update:
I was having a great week. Started weighing 199 plus or minus and felt very good going into the weekend. Work started our summer schedule, which is four ten-hour days. I made sure I still got my exercise daily. Then the first three-day weekend happened. It was a beach weekend for hubby and I. The hotel had an included full breakfast buffet and a manager’s happy hour each night. I guestimated as best I could my calories and got lots of beach walking in. Calories overall I came out with CI < CO, but I have this half pound of what I firmly believe is water weight. Last week I said I would be “swelling up like a puffer fish pulled from the water.” I’ll blame it on that.

Challenge was to survive another weekend. Did Ok – but did not lose. Also had:
Pre-log meals. Stay under calories, including exercise calories, for the week. Stay under for the week? Yes! But Sat and Sun no pre log .

Got out of the habit of logging in daily and gained 8 pounds since early Apr. Getting back into the swing of doing this again. Did keep weighing myself, just didn’t report to Challenge. Trying not to beat myself up too much…just a little to keep me motivated tho! Lol
