    It would be amazing to lose 55 lbs. by Christmas. I'm in! Today is my first day and proud of myself for keeping under my calorie allowance by 118 calories.

    I wanna lose 55-75 pounds by Christmas!!! :smiley: and I am curious as to how many people would like that to be their goal for this year!! We are almost to the 6 months until Christmas!!

    That's a difficult goal. At the usual recommended rate of 1lb per week, you don't have 55 - 75 weeks available before Christmas. Good luck though, and I'd be glad add you as a friend and motivate you.

    I actually gained a pound last week then lost two this week. I'm using the Jillian Michaels app (in addition to eating less junk) so hopefully I'll pick up some momentum.

    Hello everyone. I'm Carla and in West Va. I'd like to start. Just come across this challenge.
    Starting weight 168.4.
    Would like to get to 145, hope it's ok if I join since I don't quite have 55 lbs to lose. It seems going in the wrong direction.

    6 lbs in 2 weeks!! Congratulations. Normally MFP suggests no more than 1 lb per week, so you're doing really well.

    Thank you! I've recently added a little strength training to my routine and it seemed to jump start weight loss again. Of course there's probably some water weight factored in there. I'm really happy with how I'm doing this month :)

    They're almost exactly the same exercises as her DVDs, just grouped together differently. One day is cardio and the next day is strength. It's nice because the workouts are tailored to your fitness level and equipment on hand. Plus they're all under 30 minutes.
