Y'ALL. I've been a big fan of these 5 ingredient banana oat muffins.

I used to get these double chocolate ones for my son. He liked the bottom and not the crunchy top it was awesome and they were so good. Why are muffins so calorie dense???

Even homemade they tend to be calorific. The carrot ones I last made were 110 calories, but they weren't much bigger than a two-bite brownie.

I love to put my nose right next to a freshly baked durian muffin; brings so many vivid experiences and memories to mind.

I'm almost scared to Google this, but I will.

ETA: that was delightfully informative. Does the fruit retain it's smell when cooked?

Love a hot buttered english muffin. Actually, I'll have english muffins just about any way.

Also a fan of English muffins. Either with butter and jam or egg and cheese. Do you like them with anything other than butter?

A sprinkle of coconut oil, perhaps? B)

Cherry Chocolate Chip, lemon Poppyseed or Blueberry!

If it's an English muffin then either loads of butter and jam, or a sausage patty, egg and cheese, with Tabasco sauce.

If it's an American* muffin, then it's got to be cranberry orange. Though lemon poppyseed is an acceptable alternative.

    * I'm English so I still have a bit of a disconnect when someone asks me what flavour muffin I'd like. Er, a white one please, I don't like the wholewheat ones.

And now I want to eat ALL the muffins.

I love it with an split smokey sausage link, egg, and some melty cheese. And I'll pass on the coconut oil.

Peanut butter, either with or without bacon.

Not finding that visually appealing, but made into muffins, would certainly change that. Will look into this as well.

Cinnamon Chip. No doubt and I always eat the bottom of the muffin before the top. The tops are my favorite!

I rarely have them anymore because of the calories, but I love good old fashion chocolate chip muffins.

Avallino Coffeehouse (Bellingham, WA) gluten free carrot cake muffin with cream cheese frosting nuked for 20 seconds. Even better than regular carrot cake muffins if you can believe that!

Love warm, buttered muffins. Best fresh from the oven, but microwaved for a short time will do, in a pinch.

Recipe, if you care to share, please

Is it safe to nuke your muffin?

Chocolate chip, but ironically I do not like double chocolate muffins. Anyways I also love a good protein muffin from time to time. Pinterest has great ideas

Only 10-15 seconds to warm it. Otherwise, it gets hard and dried out. There's no coming back from that. That’s just muffin death.

I may have to try the chocolate chip again. I found it too sweet last time, but I do love chocolate.
