Can I join in for Week2? I've been looking for a good minute challenge to help me up my exercise during the week! I'll log my minutes starting tomorrow. BTW - I'm in South Texas so very HOT right now. Most of my workouts are indoors.
Welcome... Where in South TX? I was born in San Antonio. I miss it there. We would go down to Rockport quite a bit to enjoy the beach. Now I am in Iowa, and it is almost as hot as TX. It's been 99 here for almost a week... 115 with heat index.

Welcome bhurley ! It's good to have you with us. Jen, Hang in there. Indeed, the heat's a real deterrent. Our high temp for tomorrow (eastern Iowa) is supposed to be 88. Hopefully that cooler weather will reach Indiana soon.

Well, I am so proud of me! Yesterday I did 48 minutes... 20 minutes were doing a video, then I did some jogging in place, then some stairs like someone else on here did, then I walked to my parents and back with the kids! YEAH!!! I am on my way to 300!0

This week will be hard for me as I'm going on vacation to Hilton Head Island. We're leaving Wednesday and coming back next Monday. I'm gonna try to keep up with working out on the trip, and at the beach there will be lots of swimming in the ocean, its the two days of car trips that I'm most concerned about.
Oh, well, can only take it one day at a time! I'll just edit this post after I do my Monday workout... trying to wait and see what this week's challenge will be in the Challenge of the Living Dead that I'm a part of. Great job to everyone who got in their 300 minutes last week! Keep up the great work!0 -

I am on my way! So far I have... 83 minutes out of 300. I also did like 20 min of strength training as well. I had to stop my walk because I walked with the kids and they were whining they were hot and tired. I told them not to go with me but they wanted to work out with me. They kept up with me for about the first 3/4 of a mile, them they slowed down. lol0 -

My heart rate didn't get lower than 156/ I even slowed down a ton! It is hot and humid here. I felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest and my ears were pulsating with my heart rate. I HAD to stop. Tomorrow and Friday we are super busy at work and I am on call so I will have to work 12+ hours each day. Not sure if I will get my walks in with the duties on the home front to do as well. I WILL try my best.0 -

I am super sore. My chest muscles are screaming at me... I try to stretch throughout the day & that always helps, but it's hard to stretch out the chest. Any suggestions?

Well, Yesterday I had such a hard day at work I wanted to die, so I did nothing but come home shower and get into bed. I'm a bumb, I know. I did 12 hours at work lifted a ton there and busted my tush, and for some reason, my hips, knees and ankles hurt bad from the time I got up yesterday, so maybe I needed a day off.0
