My mini goal is to get down to 170 and then take a 12 week maintenance break.
I started on April 1st, I'm down 15 lbs, and only have about 5 to go!12 -
To lose 11 more pounds so that I am no longer in the "morbidly obese" category!12

My goal is 10 pounds for the month of July! I went on a lot of mini trips throughout June that slowed my progress quite a bit and I won't be doing that in this upcoming month so I'm ready to be super diligent and see if I can get this goal accomplished. I would be very happy with 8, but I'm going to shoot for the 10!7

I've set new goals for each month. Right now it's sticking to the 5x5 stronglifts program. July is going to be adding more lifts to that and fasting through breakfast. August will be working on a chin up. September will probably be improving my mile jog.6

I like setting monthly goals too! Keep it up June has been sticking to a beginner dumbbell routine and I am nearly there and loving my results.
I am a little nervous I won't hit my mini goal of fitting into the dress I wanted to wear for the July 8th wedding I posted previously (Ann Taylor dress I got at Goodwill for like $3). If only I could ask my weight to be dropping from my hips at the moment, that would be great I am still losing weight and inches, just not quite in the right spot for this dress.
But oh well- guess that means I will have to go dress shopping Oh darn hehe.10 -
Ooh I'm going to make July goals too:
- Run 40 miles
- Do 125 miles total (walk, run, bike)
- Get to 224 pounds (currently at 233)
- Donate my car
- Stick to my calorie goals every day
- Avoid unplanned snacks at work and at night
- No restaurants or takeout
- No alcohol

Reached this goal! Weighed in at 232.8 today18 -
Being able to bench press a plate (135lbs) for reps. The guys at my gym make it look easy but it's always been one my weaker lifts, and I'm only 10 lbs away.7

I want to lose 20 pounds before my birthday on October 2nd. One week in, and I've lose 1.4.8
-
Mini goal is to get set up with a bench and squat bar so I can start SL 5x5 - pretty excited to try it! Took before pics for future comparison. Not sure when I'll be able to start because I don't have a ton of money to invest in equipment, but already have barbell and weights.8

I got a pair of white Jordache skinny jeans - that are about streetwalker tight right now... I want to be able to wear them with pride before Labor Day!17

My last mini goal was to be 164lbs. By yesterday. I'm missed it by half a lb. when I hit that I move from obese to overweight. So my mini mini goal is to lose the 1/2lb by next Saturday. I'm going to the coast for a week on Saturday. So my bigger mini goal is to gain no more than 3lbs during that week.(we eat and drink out a lot when we're away), and whatever happens be "just overweight" on the 4th August when my daughter gets married9

I have 4 weeks of 'single living' - gf is off to Argentina for volunteer stuff. She went yesterday and although I miss her like mad, it is already nice to only have my food to think about/prep.
So no moping, no sitting. Using the time to:
start stronglifts - which means learning how to use the stuff on the 'scary' side of the gym!
swim 2km every morning, no excuses
get back to my 3 runs a week on C25K (on week 8, day 2, so not much left)
when I complete C25K, start park runs on Saturdays and have a similar run on Tues/Weds
and not weight-related, but I have a load of stuff that I was going to ebay over a year ago. That is all coming downstairs to the table so that I get it done!!

- Make it to the 180s - I made it this weigh in...187.7!
- Reach 50 lbs lost - a little under 3 lbs to go
Updates in bold...and I'll add something new.- Make it to the 170s - 8.7 lbs to go; if I make my monthly goal of 5 lbs I'll already be over half way there!
- Start c210k...I did C25K, so I'm gonna give this a try and see how it goes.
- I've got a couple items I bought that are currently a little snug that I'm hoping fits by August (2 shirts and a pair of shorts), will try them on weekly until they fit nicely.

I met last week's goals of working out 6 days and also completing week 1 of C25K. However, my eating was not on point and I'm still bouncing around between 201-204 lbs.
Therefore, this week's goals:
1. Complete C25K week 2.
2. Do strength training on my off days.
3. Do whatever it takes to be within 250 calories of my daily goal this week including tightening up logging as much as possible.
I think #3 means taking over cooking from my husband this week. I made supper on Saturday and lunches last night and I'm planning to make dinner tonight as well.
#1 & #2 are done. I'm actually not sure about #3, have to go back & look. But I know I've kept reasonably close to goal all week.
Next goal is to complete C25K Week 3 and to get to Onederland.
Woohoo! I did it! 198.4 lbs this morning after flirting with Onederland all week. Also finished week 3 of C25K despite some truly awful wind 2/3 days. Today's workout was a bit later in the day than I usually run and I managed to sunburn my ears. That's a bit uncomfortable now!
Next mini goals:
1. Complete C25K week 4
2. 195 lbs (probably a 2-3 week goal)
Just updating this.
1. Complete C25K week 5 (including the dreaded 20 minute run!)
2. Get to 195.5 -
Mini goal is 132 by my doctor's appt on 9/27. I will have moved from overweight to a normal weight. Only 8 lbs away! Final goal is still another 25 lbs to go.9

From April 29: To get into the 170s and stay there, during May, for the first time in over four years! So close, Sat. weigh-in was 180.5.
From June 1: Not quite...May 31 weigh-in = 180.5 (same). Mostly due to end of month celebrations: niece's graduation, family reunion / picnic. On the bright side, I did have more than one May weigh-in where the scale started with 1-7 so yay me. Now I just want to make that stick in June.
Today July 3: I made it! All Sat. weigh-ins during June / ending July 1 were < 180. As of July 1 = 176.0 So happy! First time in five years! Low one-sevens, here I come!

To get to 160 and build up running endurance to 6.2 miles. We are close with 5 miles on Sunday. I am slowly getting back to my runner girl self7
-
My mini goal is to stay dairy free for the rest of the month!5
-
My mini goal is to be 150 lbs. I want to not have to adjust the weight on cardio machines. It always starts at 150 lbs and I bring it up. I want to finally leave it alone and eventually bring it down.15
-
To see if I can lose 10 lbs on one month.10
-
To fit into my "skinny" jeans by October.9
-
Go to the gym everyday in July.11
-
Current goal: to get into the 150s.
I'm at 160 right now....I'm so close!!!
My hubby mentioned to me yesterday that my confidence seems to be way up, and I have to agree! losing 11lbs and seeing a huge difference in my body has been a major confidence boost.14 -
My initial weight-loss goal was 185. I've since lowered it to 168, but I'm really close to hitting that first goal. I'm bouncing around between 186 and 189, depending on my salt intake. Just gotta stop with the restaurant food...10

Miniest of mini goals, but it will mean a lot to me if I achieve it.
Yesterday was my first big "off-road" with 4th of July festivities since starting this new lifestyle a month ago. I want to show myself I can get back into the swing of things and not devolve into the whole "Well, just one more day off-plan" mentality.
So, mini goal: Stay on track today. Come in at calorie goal, drink a lot of water, don't get upset by what the scale says in reaction to yesterday!9 -
My mini goal is to exercise everyday. Even if it's as simple as a walk around the neighborhood. I've joined a challenge to try and make sure I stick with it!!8
-
5k run in 3 weeks. It's been 2 years since I joined a 5k. Initially I was going to try to cut my time from that last run but I've been so out of shape the goal is just to get through the run!7
