Finishing a marathon after chemotherapy. My oncologist said I could not run again after the chemo. It took a year and a half to train for it, but was worth it at the finish line!

    That is amazing, well done!

As a chemo veteran myself, I understand the kind of determination that will have taken. Much respect to you for finding that in yourself.

    Ditto. Well done!

I'd love to try a sprint but my swimming sucks!

#1 Biked, hiked, and kayaked my way across the Cordillera de Talamanca mountain range in Costa Rica. 240 kilometres, 9 days, with a cold and giardia. I felt like Superwoman by the end.

#2 Unsupported century ride (100 miles/160 kilometres) to celebrate my 33rd birthday. It was a challenge carrying enough water and food for the ride, and the black flies were horrendous, but the last hour of the ride I felt like I was flying. There was a good deal of pain but it almost became secondary to the feeling of total elation as I pushed the last few kilometres.
