Maybe if there wasn't so much time between seasons. I do like the pretty colors.

Last night = possibly my least favorite episode of all time. Seems time is passing at different rates at different locations. Sense of dread is building nicely, though.

Olenna should have opted to be executed publicly to anger her bannermen and strengthen their resolve to fight against the Lannisters. Stupid and short-sighted to opt for poison. Or maybe she was being strategic and we just don't know how yet.

Not sure how Tyrion et al. are suddenly so incredibly stupid. Also not sure why one hour in their timeline = one day in others.

Jorah and Samwell scenes were the highlight. Looking forward to seeing how these two and this relationship enter into the plot later.

I don't generally get worked up with TV or movies but when the Dothraki charge and all of a sudden Dany rides Drogon above them..... I found myself clapping hands.

    Woooooo. Really.

I might've cried a bit during the Dothraki charge

Just seeing how stoic Sansa and Arya are now after reuniting reminds you of how much they went through. Both totally evolved over the seasons.

If you're willing to settle for dopplebangers I'm sure there's a scene out there somewhere.

Pretty upset about the death and resurrection of viserion as the ice dragon.

And I also read season 8 spoilers - it reads dirty and cathartic. No happy ending to the series.

We get it; you're super cool and know all the spoilers. Now can you STFU.

What spoilers? It has already aired. That is not how spoilers work.
Do you want all the spoilers? ;)
You're gonna like this season. I know all the spoilers and plotlines unfortunately.... but I won't spill anything so you can enjoy.
No, teacup, it's leaks from the show backed up by pictures on set. You know the paparazzi always gets around.
You will like next week's episode, Pepper.

Because I have a crystal ball.

    Ok.

Yes, none of them are spoilers. That is not how spoilers work.

Reading comprehension FTW. I didn't say you said any spoilers. I said your incessant talk of knowing the spoilers is obnoxious.

    Last night's episode was good,
    Spoiler
hated to see a dragon killed off but it was pretty much a given that it would eventually happen.

Think I'll be steering clear of the comments section on any GoT article today though. People like to complain about how characters get from one area to another in such a short amount of time. They had to have been losing their minds last night.

    Winter is coming
  • I hate how Dan and Dave keep making stupid plot choices. Viserion didn't have to die. The Night's King can pass the wall now that the blood raven is south of it, and has his mark. Stop killing dragons you c0nts!

  • Does anyone other than cutaway know whether or not Bran can warg into a dragon? Because I was thinking about whether or not he could control Viserion.

I think the warging ability only applies to the living. When the dead are under someone else's control, they are wights and so far only the Night's King controls wights. I think Bran can warg into Rhaegal or Drogon, though.

So is the "ice" dragon susceptible to Dragon glass?

I'm very sad about Viserion. I didn't want any of the dragons dead, and especially not taken from Dany in the process. I keep hoping that when they meet again, Viserion will recognize his mother and turn against the Night King. Dragons are different creatures from most. Maybe they aren't so easily drawn away from their past than other creatures are.

I was thinking the same thing, that maybe next time Viserion sees Danny he'll remember his momma and they'll have him back on side.. I hope so anyway

I still want to see more action coming from Dorne. I mean they've suffered, what, like five casualties? There's a whole country of people down there saying "Oh well, we tried..."
