Straight forward plan = get a calorie goal for weight loss, eat foods you enjoy but make them fit the calorie goal by weighing and measuring everything you put in your mouth.
OK I've have a look through I've never weighed or measured I've just roughly guessed I'll have a look thanks. So do u have what ever you want or do you eat a certain way as you look like a bodybuilder so I'm assuming you could possibly have a very clean diet any examples of meals would be great

You could assume I have a clean diet, but your assumption would be way off. I refuse to associate with the term "clean eating" after being a clean eater (to the point of being orthorexic) made me the unhealthiest I've ever been. I prepped for comps whilst still having desserts, chocolate, pizza, burgers etc. in my diet.
Anyway.... The point is, for weight loss, calories are what matters. You don't need fancy foods or special diets to lose weight. You especially don't need pills or potions that promise dramatic effects (they won't) . Eat mostly nutrient dense foods for good health, but don't think you need to restrict food groups or deprive yourself of things. Get a food scale, be consistent.19 -
Right I'm on it5

I've heard there is a lot of success with an egg fast. As long as you're getting all your calories. I don't see a problem in it. Good luck32

I love eggs for breakfast but if I had to eat it all day I will get tired of it.0

Add some people here, browse their food diaries for ideas, would be my suggestion. Get a food scale, they are fairly cheap in some stores. Aim for a balanced diet, that has enough veggies, protein and fat and allow yourself treats in moderation...don't cut anything out if it is what you enjoy eating... just have it within your calorie goal. I would also suggest using this spell of weight loss to educate yourself so that you will find it easier in the future to maintain the health and weight that you wish for. There is a lot to learn from reading through these forums.3

what?
I only eat the way I know I can stick to for a long time. If you lose weight by eating only eggs then when you stop eating only eggs what do you think will happen?3 -
The egg fart diet is not recommended.
You'll crack under pressure, then you'll have to pick up all the (shell) pieces. Not an eggcellent way to start a diet, IMO.

I highly recommend checking out the stickied posts and reading some of the getting started threads

in particular "a guide to get you started on your path to sexy pants" has a lot of great information.1 -

Except for being nutrient deficient...3 -

You don't need to eat "clean" whatever your definition is. You just need to eat fewer calories. Most of use will never look "like bodybuilders" that takes many many months of hard work in the gym (especially for women) and a lower body fat%.
Protein, fiber and fat are filling. Plan your meals around protein (helps retain the muscle you already have). Add some healthy fats. Whole grains, veggies, and fruit will give you some fiber.
Strength training helps retain the muscle you already have too....look for some type if strength exercises.1 -

Strong first post...
Any consideration for eating a varied diet with balanced nutrition?
What about for eating foods you enjoy - such a limited diet doesn't sound enjoyable at all?
What about having realistic expectations regarding weight loss and overall health?
None of those seem like potential problems to you?3 -
Seriously, don't do it! You'll smell horrific!! My brother decided to "eat like a caveman" a few years ago, but being a broke student ate TONS of eggs as they were cheaper than meat. I went to visit him for a week and for the first four days thought the city he lived in smelt of sulphur. Turns out it was him

I eat 3 eggs a day. I also eat other food.
If you only eat eggs, how will you poo? You need fiber. Make some omelettes with veggies...and salsa, guacamole, greek yogurt. I'm hungry now.2 -

This is code for short cut because you have not intention of actually getting yourself healthy and keeping weight off. You're trying to game the system so to speak. You know it because as you said in your first post you always wait until the last minute to diet which means this has happened before, I'm guessing many times.
So I say go ahead and do the "egg fast" diet or whatever you want. It won't matter anyway. You'll be right back where you are, or worse, in a couple of months.5 -
OP is this what you're planning on doing?

This protocol is usually followed by those well into the ketosis lifestyle.0 -
Was there an article or meme or something on this that I missed? I swear, I'd never heard of this until the last month or so, and this is like the 4th thread I've seen since then.1

I've been eating keto for a little over 6 months. Almost ever day, I'm saying 25 out of 30 days, I have 6 eggs with sausage, bacon, and cheese for lunch. Sometimes I'll even throw a little Frank's or sriracha on if I'm feeling crazy. I also will often hard boil eggs for a work break snack or pre gym quick meal. Not sure where I was going with this but I love eggs. P.S. I don't stink.0

You do mean Cadbury Eggs right?11

Sounds like a good way to ruin eggs for yourself for life.0

Can't be any calories in Tabasco...it's too spicy. So therefore no calories.0
