I can't sleep on my stomach (or what's left of it) anymore. It helps to keep an extra pillow in the bed to provide some extra support when needed.4 -
I've started eyeing up/checking out other people . . . . well, their bicycles and running shoes, anyway.

This was me exactly! "I don't eat very much - I must just be eating the wrong things!" Uh-huh. Until I started weighing my portions and realised how much I was really eating...!
Before I knew about Cico I thought I barely ate anything. 3-4 double decker oatmeal pies and 6-12 cans of mountain dew might not seem like a lot, but omg the calories to say nothing of the lack of nutrition! Funny to think that was 8/9 years ago. I've come a long way from playing video games and eating junk food to being a mommy of two, making and eating actual food.23 -
Last night I was laying on the hardwood floor on my side last night, playing with the puppy and realized it didn't hurt my back as much as it used to. I'm guessing my spine was curving less sideways because my hip/thigh is smaller, therefore my spine stayed in better alignment. I still had shoulder, rib and hip pressure points, but I've always had those whether I was 240 or 130.11

How good it feels when someone you haven't seen for a year, stops dead in there tracks and says 'OMG you've lost so much weight'.

I lost 50 pounds. I went from a US 10 to a US 0 or 00. I can count on one hand the number of people who have commented. I don't think it's out of jealousy for most; I think it comes down to the fact that I live in a very reserved area. The very few people who commented were all from other parts of the country or world where people are less reserved. It used to bother me, but I've decided that comments actually make me uncomfortable, so I prefer that no one mention it!
Could a similar dynamic be happening where you live?

When eating out with co-workers they usually wait until I order and then they order
And usually they order something similar, side salad instead of fries30 -

It's because you don't have a belly to support your back anymore. If I lay on my stomach my back starts to hurt from the flexing. Having a pillow gives me the support for my back until I roll off it.6 -
That you would become surprised remembering your old eating habits. They started selling these big two packs of chocolate and hazelnut wafers at Costco. I was like whoa I love those things! I used to eat the whole bag in one go. I felt like I was thinking about a different person. Like I can't even imagine eating a whole bag of cookies in one day, which used to be my standard serving size.31

I think I've posted this before, but if you had a lot to lose to start, hitting road blocks/feeling done after you've lost a lot, even if you haven't hit your end goal.
I've lost 70 lbs and recently have just been going up and down +/- 5 lbs. This is good because I'm not putting weight back on, but frustrating with about 30 left that I want to lose!16 -
@becca_rup23 I know the feeling. I dropped 50 pounds and have maintained at 200 +/-15 pounds for 2.5 years. I am now ready to go for the last 30 pounds having recovered my general health over the past two years. Stopping 40 years of yo-yoing weight is one thing I am very proud about this time around.

Like some others have pointed out, the damn head games. I lost a good chunk of weight and I still see self sometimes as I was 70 pounds ago. Being able to jog for 30+ mins again is amazing. Being surprised how my cloths fit, going down a smaller size and using my old shirts as a nighty. I still have 90 pounds to go and I'm excited for what I will look like20

I had an issue with that until I realized my old spring mattress was an issue. Got a new memory foam and still stomach sleep after 70 lbs loss down to 159.10 -

I completely relate to this. I'm not even halfway to goal, but six months in and I just got stuck. Like it gets so hard to continue putting in the effort to go all the way after awhile. I've been mostly on track this month after a few months off and am hoping I can get another six month run out of it. If not, at least I'm healthier now than I was 60 pounds ago.18 -
I am no longer traumatized by having blood drawn... the nurse hits my vein the first try now instead of having to try 2-3 per arm because the buggers kept on slipping further into the later of fat...
I might even consider signing up for blood donations now (if I even qualify since I lived in the US for 4 years...)11 -
That any time you get an upset stomach or vertigo (which is something I've occasionally suffered from since I had a TBI about 2 years ago), people will tell you it's because you're not eating enough. That's when I like to whip out my MFP food diary, so I can show them all the times I over eat my daily calorie allotment. LOL.14

I'm finding that I'm growing more hair. Not talking about my head unfortunately
As I've shrunk and my some of my less severe stretch marks have started to fade, hair follicles that must have been damaged during my, erm, "rapid expansion process" have started to grow fine hair around my hips and back (like, superfine normal female body hair, not a flowing mane lol).
I'm also assuming chub rub must have been the reason I never had a lot of hair on the upper half of my legs. Now as the chub rub is disappearing, leg hair is re-appearing. I'm not sure I'm happy about this unexpected result.21 -

When you eat healthy for so long that a single piece of fried chicken gives you an upset stomach from all the grease.21

Growing fuzzy down can be a sign of malnourishment. I'm not saying that's what's going on with you, I just wanted to add that for anyone reading who is fuzzing out -and- not eating enough.14 -

How restless I feel all the time, but especially sitting at my desk at work. I am constantly looking for excuses to get up and move around. It used to be that I would find I had been imobile for hours at a time. Now I have so much energy it is harder to remain desk-bound. The same seems to be true for TV watching, which I used to love.
On the other hand, even after having lost so much weight, I still perceive myself as really heavy. I do have a way to go yet and I am still in the obese/overweight category, but I find I am forgetting how far I have come. (I know several others have mentioned this problem.)18 -

The best "vicious cycle" ever. Lose weight: have more energy. Have more energy: move more. Move more: lose more weight.
Whenever you forget how far you've come, take a full body picture of yourself, then place it side by side and old picture of yourself.
When it truly hit me like a ton of bricks is when my best friend took me shopping at the mall for a new pair of jeans. I made a beeline to Lane Bryant, because that's where I've always shopped. Sales cleck then said to me "I'm sorry honey, but you're too skinny for everything we have here.". So then she dragged me to the GAP because they had jeans on sale. She told the clerk I needed some jeans and to pick out a pair of dark wash denims, the clerk picked a few pairs for me to try in, and they weren't the biggest size they had: and they fit.
The moment you realize that you fit normal clothes in normal sizes is when it is going to you hit you so hard as to how far you've really come. I know it's a long journey, but it is so worth it.
Keep at it every day. One day at a time. You'll amaze yourself at what you truly can accomplish! Congratulations on your success so far.34 -
