Even though I have been at this weight loss struggle awhile, I'm still surprised by how non-linear weight loss is. I was 139 this past Thursday; It bummed me out so much. But, today back lower--- so keep at it everyone!

Back from my weekend away and despite a few "treats" that I planned for I still lost a lb. Just shows you can work anything into your plan from time to time...even mini donuts ;) 9 lbs down, 7 lbs to go! Have a great week everyone!

Why is gaining weight so easy but losing is so hard??? I'm still trying but am losing my momentum.

@flabtofab802015 I hear you, spend 3 weeks losing 3lbs and then can gain 3lbs in a weekend! It's frustrating. I think the most important thing is to keep tracking when your motivation is low because seeing what you're eating on a daily basis will almost always keep you somewhat in check. Maybe you'll still have a 6,000 calorie day for a special event but you're less likely to have 3 in a row....and maybe it will eventually trigger your motivation to kick back in again to workout earn some extra calories back by working out so that 6,000 calorie day doesn't even cost you over the course of your week or your month. Just get to a place where you can be comfortable calorie wise, maybe adjust to only losing one pound a week so you get a few more calories a day and aren't feeling as deprived...then look at how many you will get once you get to your goal weight and switch to maintenance...it's a lot more...plus consider how many you get from workouts...just decide this is a lifestyle change and no foods are forbidden, everything just needs to be worked in! You can do it!
