      I actually tried to join the military (Army) years ago but got disqualified because my eyes weren't up to par. Funny thing is is my recruiter told me if I have tried to join years earlier than I tried to join, I would have gotten in. He told me the requirements got stricter.

      I was active-duty Army. My job while in the Army was to copy Morse code. (Of course, I did other Army stuff as well, but Morse code was my primary duty.)
