8/21 - 231.8 - heading back in the right direction after my family reunion this weekend
8/22 - 230.6 - hoping this holds; almost as low as I got last round
8/23 - 230.0 - a new low! Hard work is feeling like it is starting to pay off. Even if I can't see the results when I look in the mirror, I absolutely feel better and that's what is important.
8/24 - 229.0 - wow! I didn't expect that! I expect it will bounce around some, but it sure felt good to see!
8/25 - 229.0 - holding steading; TOM started today so I must have been holding on to some water weight
8/26 - 229.2 - felt pretty bloated this morning so I'm happy with this
8/27 - 229.2 - I'm not surprised. Pizza last night (sodium) and not enough sleep. Really hoping I don't bounce up tomorrow!
8/28 - 230.2 - Family barbecue yesterday. I probably ate around maintenance and tracked as best as I could. Not really concerned because I know it isn't a pound of fat! Hoping it goes back down over the next two days so I can end this challenge at my goal. So close!
8/29 - 229.2 - alright! Back down from yesterday. Was able to walk 3 miles last night and get my eating back on track. Feeling good.

8/21 205.6 been stuck on 205 forever!
8/22 206.6- started T.O.M yesterday so that weight gain is probably from that. Did weight lifting and cardio. Fitbit said I burned 967 calories
8/23 206.6- did back and biceps. Burned close to 400 calories. Didn't drink enough water or eat enough.
8/24 205.6 did a hour of light cardio country heat. Counted my calories. Ate good, but should of drank more water
8/25 204.4 didn't workout yesterday but ate very good. Ate about 1500 calories
8/26 204 -did shoulders and counted calories at well.
8/27 203.2! Omg I've never been this low since 2012! So I watched what I ate around 1800 calories. Didn't workout bc I was too lazy to! But I didn't eat bad. Had an amazing eggplant zucchini noodle lasagna last night! Going to make that again for sure.
8/28 204.2 yesterday I watched what I ate was over about 200 calories. Walked for 50 mins
8/29 201.8 yesterday was awful! I got strep throat so I could barely swallow anything down without it hurting a lot! I ate 1000 calories and absolutely no exercise. Just laid on the couch the whole time.

8/21- 172.5 - I went mia last round because we went on vacation for a week! I didn't log but I walked a ton and tried to keep a mental count of calories throughout so that I could still have fun. Seems like I just maintained from my last weight but I'm ok wIth that for vacation!
8/22- 172.5 - walked less today than I have in over a month?! I must work out tomorrow morning, no excuses. I'm so determined for my goal this round
8/23- 171.5 - so I had an excuse toddler kept me up almost all night. No work out this morning but I'm going to try to make it up by walking!
8/24 - 171.5 - originally it said 171, but after two additiona tries it was 171.5 so I'll stick with that one for now!
8/25 - 170.5 - woo!!
8/26 - 168.5 - what! I'm not really going to set my hopes on this sticking. Seems to drastic. We shall see what tomorrow brings before I call my goal met for this round

8/24 158 I had problem when I burnt my Lean Cuisine TV dinner. I scorched it & it was not edible. But needed to eat lunch... ended up with an higher calorie lunch than I'd planned. Oh well. I'm still very excited!!! I know that I will lose a little in the next 6 days... at least I hope so... adding in exercise so don't know how that will affect at this time.

8/21-176 Ate Mexican food out for the last 3 nights. Wonder why I gained 3 lbs back?
8/22 - 175. I knew some of this was just sodium. But I DID run 2 miles last night.
8/23 - 175. Did some weight lifting and went for a walk. Stayed within points. Its a win for today.
8/24 - 174.8 I'll take it. Stayed under points, ran and did yoga.
8/25 - 174.4 still the right direction. Took a rest day. My body was complaining. Back to working out today.

My goal for this round is to have recovered from my eclipse-weekend stay-cay with friends from out of town.
8/21 264.6 -- I’m creeping up the last few days due to taking a logging vacation while friends are in town for the eclipse. They leave later today so starting tomorrow, it’s back to the new normal.
8/22 266.0 -- We saw the totality through a break in the clouds BUT four days of eating with wreckless abandon has sure packed pounds back on. I know some are water but some are probably truly “recovered poundage.” Back to counting & measuring today.
8/23 266.4 -- Oh, I see, the scale is going to be ugly about it. Anyway, yesterday was a nice, easy, within calorie limits day. The is an interesting experiment.
8/24 264.6 -- Okey dokey, starting to go back down. Made homemade pasta last night and a single egg batch is now two meals worth rather than one (4 servings rather than 2). That’s an improvement for both of us.
8/25 262.6 -- It’s going to take more than 3 days of TDEE-500 to recover from 4 days of reckless abandon but I’m getting there! It’s been surprisingly easy to eat within limits again.

8/27 147.6 ~ (Steps 18,495 Miles 7.36) ~ Today's my sons birthday......Yesterday I was able to get a nice morning walk in plus hit the gym in the evening since it was too hot outside. I had to push myself to hit the gym, it did pay off in the scale, yay! Another pound off, I'm trying to lose the 5 pounds I gained from vacation,
8/28 148.8 ~ Yesterday, since I didn't get ANY exercise in plus my sodium was high, I have a gain. I didn't over eat though so my gain is only a pound. Yesterday's, was a success in my books!
8/29 148.3 ~ (Steps18,169) Miles 7 ~ I was hungry the whole day but was able to stick to my dairy, keeping my sodium low. I decided to try getting a workout before getting breakfast. Last night I had to alter my menu since my husband got off late from work. On the plus side a couple workouts during the day helped.

8/27 - 219 - tomorrow's weigh in will be interested. After I weighed myself this morning, I went on a 62 mile bike ride. So I burned lots of calories - but ate a lot too!
8/28 - 219 - not surprised. Despite all the calories burned yesterday, lots of calories were consumed to keep my energy level up. But I need to be good the next two days so I can hit my goal of 218.

8/21. 125.75 (nice number to start with!)
8/22 125! - I know I obviously didn't lost 3/4 of a pound overnight, but hopefully this is a real lost that has just been masked until now. Still quite chuffed about this. I'm hoping to get down to 124 by thursday (my weekly weigh in, I weigh everyday but this one i use for comparison and do other measurements) even if it is 124.75. On the right track, but won't be too gutted if it goes up again as long as I keep eating healthy.
8/23 125.75 Back up to where I was haha. I had a lot of sodium yesterday and did an initial test for strength training challenges, which involved going to the maximum amount of reps I could do, so possibility I am retaining water for that as well. Oh well. I also finished level 1 of the 30DS, so I'm ready to move onto Level 2 now. I feel smaller, and I know I'm stronger, so it's just a matter of time till the scale represents it. My official weigh in is tomorrow, so I wonder If I'll reach my goal of being within 124.
8/24 -126.75 I'm actually quite upset about this, because it seems to imply I didn't lose any weight this week and that the days on the scale were just lying to me i guess it's possible it's because I'm still sore from exercise yesterday? Idk. On plus side I've lost 1 cm from my hips, thigh and arm, and 1/2 cm from my waist since last week (but they could always be off...so)
8/25 -126.25 I'm upset and annoyed as the fact I'm back up here seems to suggest I haven't lost any weight and this has all just been a natural fluctuation of about 2lbs. Which means I've lost nothing in over two weeks
8/26 - 124.5 - Well this is nice! But I'm still very confused about the fluctuations. Hopefully the trend continues downwards. Glad I didn't decide to say screw it to my diet yesterday when my weight wasn't doing what I had hoped. Hopefully it continues going down.
8/27 - 124.75- Welp, back up but not by much and I know I felt bloated this morning. Hopefully it sticks to this. Seems I'm losing just about 1lb a week.

8/29 - 125.75 I went out yesterday and thus had a lot of sodium. I was also slightly over my calories, so the gain makes sense. Hope it disappears quickly though. The annoying thing with losing about 1lb a week is that any slight fluctuation seems to undo everything and you can't actually tell whether your making progress until you've been at it a while. I'm tempted to drop my calories lower, although 1200 would probably be too low, but normally I would be losing 2lb at what I'm eating now, but I think it's the new medication I'm on that's affecting it, so maybe I do have to lower my calories to counteract it.

8/21: 156.2 - weight seems to be melting off at this point. I won't complain!
8/22: 156.4 - TOM is here and I feel lousy. Wouldn't be surprised to see my weight creep up a bit from TOM.
8/23: 156.8 - I've been under calories, but obviously TOM is causing gain. One thing I like about weighing daily is I know things like this happen and it doesn't stress me out.
8/24: 156.0 - TOM is still here, but feeling better and weight seems to be moving in the right direction again. Would love to keep it here or lower.

8/21 215.2 / Dang! We ate out yesterday, I took a nap, went for a 2 mile run, made a super delicious dinner AND had a cupcake. It was pretty awesome and so this number isn't really bothering me. Focusing on lots of water today!

8/23 / 213.7 / Meh. Ran 3.3 miles last night WITH EASE dang I'm so glad I got back into running. Weather was cooler and the run was more enjoyable than usual. Was way under calories. I have this feeling my scale doesn't weigh correctly day to day because I'm the same weight with clothes on, without clothes on, before the bathroom, after the bathroom. What scale does everyone here use? Anywho I'm not disappointed with the number. I'm feeling pretty great

8/26 / 209.8 / went to a Greek festival last night after my run and ate awesome authentic Greek food and deserts. Drank a few beers. Went for a 3.5 run today after a 2.5 hour nap. I was so exhausted today for whatever reason.I have the best husband! Feel a ton better after getting my long run in. Using the 10PR method of increasing distance. By October/November I'll be in half marathon range!

8/28: 217.6 - I haven't felt good these last couple of days. I'm thinking it's all the junk food I've been eating with the birthday party and such. Yesterday I had a mini binge and went over my calories eating cereal and cupcakes. Not a good idea. Today is a new day and I l'll ne jumping back into my old routine.
8/29: 217 - Upped my calories since I've been doing strength exercises and am more hungry than usual. I'm a little nervous about it though and hope I can keep up my weightloss.

8/21 - 170.2 -frustrated that I'm hovering at 170 the last few days. Though after a weekend of being a bit looser on my diet, it could be worse.
8/22 - 170.0 - at least there's some progress even if it's small. Actually a bit surprised since I went over my cal count last night. I did well for most of the day but caved in to chipotle tacos for dinner. I'll do better today!
8/23 - 168.8 - yes! That's more like it! Was below cal count yesterday and went to a zumba class! :-) going to try to go to the gym again tonight. Maybe work on some strength training.
8/24 - 168.0 - alright! I'm hoping to break 168 before the end of the week. Haven't gotten below that yet. I was under calorie count yesterday (though over on fat). Went to gym and burned 200 cals doing various cardio exercises (stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical). Also worked on arms. Overall a good day!
8/25 168.2 - was slightly afraid to check my weight today. I stayed under cals yesterday but had pasta for dinner and didn't exercise. A bit sad that it went up slightly, but not the worst. May not make my below 168 goal this week, but maybe by the end of the round??? Going to go try a pilates class today.
8/26 - 168.2 - I guess 168 is the new hurdle. seemed to have gotten past 170 (knock on wood). At first I was annoyed that there was no movement but I caught a glimpse of myself wearing shorts in the mirror and...starting to see (very small) definition in the legs. I still feel sore from pilates yesterday too (the good kind of sore). Celebrating the small victories!
8/27 - 170.2 - nooooooo! not super surprising though. Had a big breakfast yesterday then wine and fries later in the night. I paid for it...
8/28 - 169.6 - let's keep moving in this direction...yesterday I went swimming but ate those cals back. Now that it's Monday, I can get back into my routine again. Weekends seem to be tougher.
8/29 - 168.4 - keep it up body! I did well yesterday! Managed to stay well below cal count :-) Starting to figure out that small snacks throughout the day seem to work better for me than meals. Going to try to get to the gym tonight!

8/21 -131.5 stable. That's good. Long walk around the lake through the hills and then to the gym. I had an eclipse gathering at my house today. Hopefully not too much damage.
8/22 - 131.1 love the trajectory. Hopefully I can keep this up and reach 130 by the end of this challenge.
8/23 - 132.1 Not really sure what that is about. Although my logging has been a bit haphazard. I am hoping it goes away as fast as it came. And I will be better about logging. Taking responsibility.
8/24 - 131.8 still not doing a decent job at logging. Working out ok. I think mindful eating but who knows without logging. Tomorrow is another day. And 6 more days in this challenge. I remain hopeful & determined!
8/25 - 131 woohoo!!!
8/26 - 130.1 not sure how that happened. And don't expect to stick. But I will take it for now and behave. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
8/27 - 130.6 I am happy with that. Did my 5 mile run this morning. And had a hearty breakfast, that should take me into the afternoon. Trying to keep the momentum going!
8/28 - 130.5 Holding steady! Would love to see a steady 130 at months end. I can feel it!!! Off to the gym I go after my 3 mile walk with my dogs. I am motivated
8/29 -131.3 hopefully it'll be back down tomorrow. Sometimes no rhyme or reason (or so it seems)

My goal for this round is to continue to keep up with my hydration. I would also like to work on my flexibility, so I'm going to stretch for at least 5 minutes a day.

8/22--227.0 Tonight I am flying to see my parents. I was contemplating whether I should bring my scale, but I decided I will. I'm still not sure if I should bring my food scale or not. I am sure the 5 hour flight will show up in my weight tomorrow. I forgot to stretch yesterday, but this morning after walking the dog I did my stretching.
8/23--228.6 I know this number is not accurate. Between the water retention from the flight, the fact that I have had less than 4 hours of sleep, and the fact that my scale is at a different location, I'm not surprised that the weight is up.
8/24--226.1 Another weigh in at my parents house so not sure if this is a true loss loss or not, but I will take it.
8/25--225.9 Went to the rec center near my parents house and did my weightlifting yesterday. Also did my stretching. Going out for dinner with friends tonight so I expect a gain to show up tomorrow.
8/26--226.6 Went out for dinner last night. Just got back from the gym and returning home today. I was impressed with the fact that during my four day trip to my parents I went to the gym twice, stretched every day, and, other than for yesterday, I ate at or near my calorie goals.
8/27--229.2 Ugh. A part of this is from the water retention from the flight and the fact that I didn't drink a lot of water yesterday. I also didn't plan for the almost 9 hours of travel time, so I ended up eating candy while waiting at the airport and then coming home and eating when I really wasn't hungry and now I'm feeling a little gross. So, today I am just getting back to eating as usual today and getting back on track. It will be interesting to see the scale tomorrow.
8/28--228.8 I was still feeling gross yesterday, so I lspent most of the day laying on the couch watching tv. I also didn't drink as much water as I should of. I woke up today still feeling heavy. Today it'sback to my normal schedule.
8/29--227.5 Feeling better today. Back to my normal eating and keeping myself hydrated. It's shocking how easily your body is affected by bad eating when you start eating more healthy.

8/25 - didn't weigh in. - This is a process. The weekends are my nemisis.
8/26 - didn't weigh in. Got a work out in. Ugg Goblet squats. Over on calories, short on time, no time for meal prep and my parents and my kids bombarded me and pizza hut won out.
8/27 - 202.3- under on calories, good on steps, good on food and meal prep. (of course, it's monday.)
8/28 - 201.7 - Under on carbs, good on water, got up from my desk.
