@PastorVincent I forgot to mention, these arrived the other day...I should have worn one this morning, but I hadn't checked the mailbox in a few days, so I'll have to try one of them out next week. I'll probably test it on Monday's run, seeing as that should be the warmest day and I'll be doing about 7 miles, so a chance to get nice and sweaty...then continue wearing it through the rest of the day and basically see how long it lasts.

Oh, and I went with a timing for my absolute insane goal; we'll see how well that goes (or more likely doesn't)!

    Cool beans!

9/17 – rest day with 5 miles of walking – my friend is in town and we walked through the Botanical Garden and Bridgestreet taking senior pictures of Skip. Thank you all for the kind words on Skip and for letting me continue to brag on her here.
@skippygirlsmom Brag on Lady, Brag on. Remember Miss Skip is a reflection of the guidance and support she has received, so take the time to look in the mirror and congratulate yourself/your partner and family for a job well done. That picture of the coach and running club, priceless/precious. Every one of the Young Ladies had a huge smile.

@Orphia I agree with so many - Great accomplishments in just 2 years. 24 km Run Anniversary :)
@Eaglesfanintn As other's have said: A mile is a mile, does not matter what your pace is. Most importantly you are out there destroying shoes.
@MNLittleFinn Good luck tomorrow!! I expect an epic race report.
@fitoverfortymom Come Visit us in North West and West Central Alberta, we have one or seven small hills (200 to 230m 650ft-750ft ) in town and one or more mountains ( its not a true mountain unless it has an area above Tree Line )
@_nikkiwolf_ There are 3 times of year, Early Spring, Autumn and waiting for Early Spring/Autumn.

10 km Roots and Ruts event in Grande Prairie. Bling Report. There are two event's in Grande Prairie tomorrow 8km Steve Burgess Memorial Run and in Hudson Hope That Dam Run - A 10 mile run through the bush trails around the WAC Bennet Hydro-Electric Dam and trails/viewpoints around the Dam. Just don't have the legs for it. Will have to put it in the books for next year.

The ankle, however . . . 3 miles was okay. The PT was right yesterday. 6 miles would have been too much.

So then listen and obey!

I am going to go for a full 3.1 miles on Sunday just to test, but I think I have it now. Whoop. I owe part of it to you because this has been a great group of people with TONS of motivation and great advice. Thank you!

Yes, 10K trainer is next, but when you're ready- I have two more runs to complete it- tomorrow morning and then Monday- And then I'll be on to Half Marathon training!!!! (That's my limit :D:#;)

I'm in Florida so I feel your pain- I was excited to see 74 degrees when I woke up this morning! I get my runs in early if I can!
