    Good Morning Everyone! Well, I slept really good again last night. Today is supposed to be a beautiful day around 65 but super windy..

    Bad news I got yesterday from beachbody and the Grand Prize Contest... The video I did, did not turn out very good. It was fine when I previewed it but they called in an expert but it is not good. So, they will deduct points from it. So, my chances of being picked for the contest are really slim and none. Oh well... I tried... I was not too worried about it anyway because the way I look at it, I have already won in succeeding in reaching my goals. The $250,000.00 would have been nice but it would have been a bonus. It was just not meant to be...

    Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful day and excellent workout!

    Well yet again I went to bed at 830pm. ok I fell asleep on the couch waiting for dh to make up his mind on what he was goign to do that night, workout or do work around the house... i was exhausted. So today is cardio X at lunch since a FREIND needed to talk so I didnt get to do it at lunch yest. THen at night we are doing Arms and Shoulders. And then tomorrow will still be Legs and Back by myself since dh is out of town for the day.

    Tomorrow afternoon I am going to see a school for kindergarden registration for my oldest.. cant believe she is this old now. yikes. We are debating on a french catholic school or a french immersion public school. We really want our kids to be bilingual since it will open so many more doors for them when they can work since the job market is awful around here. AT least they can get a job in the government since that is the only secure jobs right now.


    Tena - sorry your video will not win, that sucks. there will always be another contest.

    paula - I hope you enjoy p90X when you do get it. I use bands for chinups/pulldowns and really now wanting to get a chinup bar since I want more of a workout.

    Good news Jenn and I will have our heartrate monitors next week, I am so excited to try it out and finally know how many calories I am burning. And Jenn is realy excited cause it is PINK!! hehe

    Mornin' all

    Cardio 3+4 this morning. It definately get's your heart going. Ironically I find he does the jumping jacks too slow, it's actually easier to do them at a bit of a faster pace. Go figure.

    Hey Everyone! I had an excellent 1 on 1 Yoga workout tonight! It felt so AMAZING! I needed that stretch big time! I have been in such a rush from the minute I got home. I finished my workout then started brownies (boss, David and another guys b-day) and still have to make another batch. Sorry so short but I have to start the other batch!

    Way to go on your workouts everyone!

    I started P90X 15 days ago, and am already starting to feel the results. I've been posting on a different thread, and just found this one. Tenaarnett... You are so inspiring!!! I love reading your posts-they are always so happy and uplifting. It's nice to hear someone with such positive thoughts when I'm so sore I can't sit without letting out a yelp. It makes me look forward to being in better shape!!!:tongue:

    Tena - JEnn should be online today some time today, she didnt have internet access at the casino. That must be hard to not eat those brownies when baking, that is my bad thing, i like to snack. lol

    MissREsa - You are about teh same stage as I am in P90X. The first week was awful with the soreness and then i was fine until I really "X" the back and chest workout and gosh my chest is so sore from all the pushups I did. But it is a good sore thats for sure.

    Well yesterday I was ambitious and actually did my workouts and did cardio X at lunch and then did arms and shoulders with dh at night. I really tried my hardest and almost could do all excersises using 15lb weights.. even dh was shocked when i grabed the 15lbs and he was using 20lbs, so then he upped his weights cause you cant have your wife being stronger than him. lol So he really was tired out last night from me forcing him to push himself.

    Tonight I am home alone so i am doing Back and legs but no cardio at lunch since i am leaving early to look at a perspective school for kindergarden for my daughter

    Good Morning Everyone! I slept really good again last night, of course I was pretty worn out from the evening. It was sunny and 54 when I left for work this morning. It is supposed to be in the 70's but with a super strong south wind. I will take it!!!

    Jen: WAY TO GO ON THE WORKOUTS YESTERDAY!! I am so proud of you doing doubles!!! That is amazing! I loved what you said about you and hubby last night! That is great!! That must be fun working out with him!

    MissResa: Welcome to our group! How AWESOME that you are doing P90X! That is the best workout around! I have been doing it over a yr and a half and still get super sore sometimes. There really is no plateau as you either raise weights or go lower or push harder! I love it and I am still seeing new muscles forming! Welcome to our group and if I can help you at all in your journey, I am here!

    IM HERE!!!!!!!!!!

    Well my mini vacation of staying at the casino is over :sad: I love it there!

    Well yesterday I didnt workout and today I havent either. Of course today is my bday and to top it all off Im getting sick!!! When will it ever end?

    Going out to dinner tonight but already know what Im having......a futtoush salad with grilled chicken!

    Tomorrow night I have having an asian noodle bowl which is only 300 calories but I will be drinking! I will also be dancing so burning some of those calories off.

    I am SOOOOOOO loooking forward to monday to get to healthy eating and daily exercise. Not too sure if Ill be online much this weekend very busy but monday I will!!!

    You go to beachbody.com and to the message boards. Then go under P90X Photo Gallery and you will see my picture under "Tena's Fountain of Youth". Come join us there! There is a great group of people and a Nutrition Specialist that helps people for free. She has revamped all of us into eating right!

    So I have the day off and I just got done with sweat 1,2. I pushed really hard and am pretty proud I have not missed a day yet. Monday is the end of week 4. My problem right now is that I am really struggling to get going. Once I start I am fine, but I am to the point that I almost dread coming home to the workout, don't get me wrong I feel great once done, but coming home after a 11 hour day ( I commute 100 miles everyday so that ads about 2 hours.) I was fine up until this week, anyone else have little flux's in ambition for these programs. I am too far in to miss a day so I know I won't but how do I get some ambition back. I

    I am also finding the workouts easier to do but I am more exhausted at the end of them. Seem kind of contradicting but I think I am used to them and just pushing my self really hard now? Hope so

    Please need some help thanks everyone. Maybe I should go to a casino for the weekend?? :wink: :huh:

    Thury: First, I am SUPER PROUD of you for pushing play even though you did not feel like it! I think everyone has days like that. But, from what you are saying, it makes me think you have mastered P90 and boredom is starting in. You may want to think about moving up to P90 Master Series now. It is really great and has more variety to it. WOW you do have a long commute to work! I would hate that! You are doing great though! Keep it up and keep pushing play! How is your eating going???

    I am actually excited cause I get off in less than 45 minutes and I cannot wait to get home and push play and do P90X Legs & Back!!!!:love:

    Welcome to our new posters and congratulations.

    Did Sculpt 3&4 at the gym again today. I LOVE that I can get the whole workout done by myself at lunch time.

    Tena, you make an interesting suggestion, to move on to the next system if getting bored. I ordered P90X yesterday and may just move straight on to it when it gets here. I'll have probably done 50 days of Power 90 by then. Hmmmm.

    ok so today i did level 1, sculpt, sweat and ab ripper!!! not as intense as i was hoping but i still liked it!!! hopefully i will lose some weight soon, its almost been 4 weeks and im trying not to get discouraged!!! i cut my calories back to 1300 a day to see if that helps!! i have been working out 1 hr 5 days a week and i drink 130 oz of water a day so im not sure where im going wrong..... i get bored with workouts easily so i mix them up every day or so....i hope to see results soon!!!

    Hey Everyone! Just finished an EXCELLENT workout! Tonight I did Legs & Back and it was AMAZING!!! Half-way through, I thought, this is the last Legs & Back that I will do with Tony for a long time! So that made me push it harder and whip out those pullups! I was grunting and groaning so loud that Mike asked me if I was having a hard time with my workout tonight! I yelled "No I am just pushing myself extra hard"! I burned 539 calories tonight!!! It felt sooooo good!!! Next week is Recovery Week! The week after next week I will be starting the Chalean Xtreme workout! I can't wait!! We all need a change once in awhile! Tomorrow is Kenpo+ because I have Chandler & Ashley (grandkids) here and we all know that is Chandler's favorite!

    Well, gotta finish my Recovery Drink and hit the shower!

    Thanks for the encouragement Tena,

    It may be a bit boredom with the sweat but the pushups still kick my butt so bad that , that is the only thing holding me back. I may bump up to the sweat 3,4 after my rest day on Tuesday that will be day 30. I am still getting a good work out though so not sure. I think its just been one of those weeks.
    I may have to check out the master program. Have not looked into that at all, is it alot more intense then power 90.,

    Between the power 90 which is intense for both me and my roommate, Egg Whites Int, and MFP I have no doubt I will reach my goals and continue to improve my health.

    Hey Everyone! Just finished Chalean Extreme Abs and Kenpo+. We had an AWESOME workout! Yes WE!! Ashley was being lazy and did not want to workout but I was surprised at Chandler! He changed into shorts and tank top and started with CE Extreme Abs! We were both screaming at how are abs were burning! The pain in my abs and burning was unreal! I pushed it harder than last week and could definitely feel it! So could Chandler by the way he was complaining! Then we did Kenpo+! It was AWESOME! My heart rate got up to 170 and the alarm was going off big time! Chandler did really good too! He complained that they were going too fast and then Tony told Mark and Tracy to slow down at one point but they didn't and Chandler told me "Tony just needs to smack them in the head for not paying attention to him and slowing down". I was laughing soooo hard!! It was hilarious!! But we did have an amazing workout!

    Well, they are now playing the Wii Fit and I am going to jump in the shower. Be back later.
