Do they fit your calorie goal and macro breakdown?

Why buy first and ask for permission later? Why not just eat it and log it? Why keto in the first place?

What else are you eating? Does a serving of the milk and blueberries fit within the carb and sugar limits you have for the day? If not, then they won't work with your keto plan.

Organic whole milk and blueberries sound awesome. If it was between having those or sticking to a specific type of diet, I would choose milk and blueberries (unless of course, the diet is restrictive because of intolerances).

Seems like an odd combo to me, but IIFYM and calories, why not? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You must add one more ingredient. Pour 1/3 cup oatmeal in to a mason jar. If you don't have a mason jar go buy one, because, on trend. Fill up the rest of the jar with blueberries and then pour the organic whole milk over all. Let it sit in your refrigerator overnight.

In the morning, stir it all up and enjoy.

I'd chuck some honey or maple syrup in there too. Maybe some Greek yoghurt.

And some roasted nuts on top. I like blueberries with macadamias

If you choose to follow a true keto diet, I would swap out the whole milk for cream or half & half, milk has too many carbs/sugar. And for those that are asking why she is choosing keto, that isn't the point of the post.

It's pretty relevant, though. For one, because you can lose weight without going keto, and for two, because understanding *why* means that you understand *what* (or how much/how often) you can eat.

If you eat nothing but butter for the rest of your meals you will be able to have a cup of milk and half a cup of blueberries.

Which is the nut of why I don't want to do keto.

    Trial and error first!

so, have you decided, by checking your calories and macros, whether you can have them?

It already is not working for you. If you are having dilemmas about something as simple as milk and blueberries, maybe keto is not sustainable for you. A successful diet is the diet you are happiest doing, and a diet that aligns with your food preferences.

Keto IS a strict diet - one of the strictest diets you can choose.
Why do you think you have to stick to a strict diet?
What do you mean by strict diet, by the way?
Why do you think you CAN stick to a strict diet?

It depends on how low your carb goal is. You can probably be in keto eating below 50 g net, I was eating around 60 g total, 35 g net, I know. But if you are trying to keep a super low carb goal (even lower than that, as some keto plans push, although I personally don't think that's a good idea), then you can't really fit those foods in easily. Especially since it would be a good idea to use your carbs, if super low, for vegetables. Neither milk nor blueberries is low carb, obviously.

That said, if you bought the foods, eat them, it doesn't hurt to exceed your carb goal for a bit and you might find you like the slightly higher goal.
