August 24 Hour Challenge

Are you ready to burn burn burn those calories in the heat of August! This monthly challenge is called the 24 hour challenge, 1440 minutes of exercise in the month. It will help you stay on track with your exercise, get a little competitive, and overall have fun with it!
Write down what exercise and how long you did it. ie. 25 minutes 30DS + 45 minutes elliptical 70/1440. Then keep adding the minutes every day, even if you skip exercise, you can write that down too. Seeing "nothing" or "no exercise" helps keep you motivated to keep going.
Our July challenge was a hit, a lot of people not only made the 1440 minute goal, some EXCEEDED it, big time!
Can you be one of those over achievers? I bet you can be! So join us on August 1st for our August 24 hour Challenge!

Thanks for posting this Stephanie08! I am DEFINITELY in again for August! This challenge really kept me moving for the whole month of July and hopefully it will do the same for me in Aug0

I built mine at tickerfactory.com using the exercise and fitness tickers.
Then it will step you through the process, you'll pick a pin, and you'll need to copy and paste the url into your signature here at MFP.
To add a ticker to your signature here in MFP, click Community tab, signature link, and copy and paste the url from Tickerfactory into the space.
Copy the code they give you that starts with URL, not the HTML, Make sure it begins and ends with URL in brackets.

ACK! What a terrible way to start the month Didn't get home till after 9pm and didn't have time to work out. I will have to make up for it!

Thank you for posting this challenge! I'm off to a slow start due to a treatment I had today, but I'm optimistic my pain won't hold me back for long and I'll be back to the gym by Friday! My goal is 800 mins of cardio for August. (I'll leave it for cardio as I'm not sure how to gauge my strength training routine yet!)

Aug 2: 10 mins walking (T: 130)
