Yesterday I joined a Plank challenge to do 60 minutes of planks in 30 days. My cat encourages me by rubbing against my head and hip, then flops down next to me purring!
I hope I’m not violating any rules by posting this picture.

Is it better to do 1 or 2 planks held longer or more short ones?1 -

It's better to do what you need to do to get them done. Honestly I have read articles saying shorter are fine, longer are fine. I personally rarely do more than 30 seconds before I switch positions. I may do a 4 minute plank but I start in one position, switch to another in 30 seconds, then another, etc. without stopping. It helps keep it going and you can work more muscle groups that way. The longest plank I do in one single position is 1 minute.6 -

The only rule I have in this challenge, and I'd wager @b3achy has the same rule, is no judgement of your fellow plankers. We all are different and are here to support each other's efforts.7 -
