Abuse and respect are diametric opposites: You do not respect someone whom you abuse, and you do not abuse someone whom you respect.

Im going to TOPS which is an International weight loss organization. Most towns have a chapter or two you can join. Over the past year Ill lost 33.2lbs. Some of the things I do are trying to stay around 1200 calories a day, eating a half of bagel or half of a banana instead of a whole one, eating low cal popcorn, pickles, half an apple, and Village Hearth bread thats 45 calories a slice for sandwiches. Also Im a fast eatter so the VA recommended I drink a big glass of water before eating. I do drink diet Pepsi and BAI Moka 10 calorie coconut water, but just cant seem to give up my little bottle of diet pepsi a day. I also drink 0 calorie diet peach tea and green organic hot tea with a little honey. I try to cook more chicken but love the beef so im weighing my meat and doing around 6oz. Hope this helps anyone out there that is looking for some tips.

When someone you would like to be special to doesn’t know you are alive, doesn’t care, doesn’t value you or doesn’t think you are all that,......don’t let it define your self worth.

That was a hard lesson to learn for sure.

I always just try to keep fighting mentally. Focus on the reasons and people/family that need me around. Remember great times with those people/family and try to figure out when I can make some more great memories with them. Then get up and do again the next day.

Since my kids are pretty much grown. I've started putting together a me list. I think it's ok to be selfish sometimes now. Also when I'm physically exhausted from exercise my mind seems to be happier.
